"Perfect for business"

Back at the Radisson for a few nights on a business trip. Clean, professional, and well located. Reception staff kindly upgraded my room, which was spacious with a great shower. Breakfast is perfect with a range of fruit, pastries and cooked items. Most importantly Jean the waiter who provides a warm, friendly and enthusiastic start to the day. Merci Jean! Small recommendation - gym needs redecorating and make over

"Christmas Weekend"

2026-01-17

We stayed here just before Christmas to visit the Christmas markets nearby. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful and there were lots of lovely touches, down to some sweets in reception. They allowed us to leave our bags there due to an early flight in and late flight out. The provided us with free WiFi codes as well as a free travel pass for the trams in Basel, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious. There were 3 of us in the room, one double and a sofa bed which were all comfy. The bathroom was nice and had all the amenities we needed had we needed them. There were also plenty of towels between us, as well as tea and coffee available. There was a small sewage smell in the room, but we noticed this throughout Basel so I doubt it’s a hotel specific thing. We had breakfast each morning and there was a lovely selection on offer, with both hot and cold options available. We also had a quick snack and drink in the bar one evening, and although not the cheapest, the food and drinks were lovely. We used the pool one afternoon too, which although was absolutely freezing, it was still a nice amenity available and we enjoyed our afternoon there. We’d definitely stay here again if we visit Basel!

"Always a wonderful stay in this Radisson hotel in Basel."

Always a wonderful stay in this Radisson hotel in Basel. Front Office team left me a nice welcome card and a chocolate in my room at my arrival. A pretty touching attention for normal stay. And as always, people at the hotel were very nice and helpful from front desk, to restaurant staff or to room employees. Always a pleasure to come every year and rest at the hotel after a long day at a competition hall.

"Well located, clean and safe"

Modern hotel within easy reach of the train station, which is also where the airport bus drops off. Jump on no 10 tram or walk less than 10 mins. Guys on reception spoke excellent English, I had a superior room which was a good size and had decent storage. The room had a kettle (I was expecting a coffee machine, but. as a tea drinker I'd much rather have a kettle) and also a small fridge, which was very useful, and an iron & ironing board. It faced an internal courtyard so wasnt particularly light, but that wasnt a huge issue. It was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was decent, and the guy who served there was so lovely! I didnt get his name, but he was so sweet and friendly. The gym has a good selection of machines and weights, and the pool is a decent size. There is also a sauna and steam room, which I didnt realise. I couldnt use the lockers as they required a Euro or similar and I had no cash, but there were plent of seating areas where you could leave your stuff. Dogs are allowed here and it was lovely to be able to have a chat with a few friendly canines in reception! You can easily walk to the old part of Basel from here, or there is a tram stop pretty much outside the door. There were also usually a few taxis outside waiting.
