Great location, as I travelled to Leeds on train and the hotel is in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and hotel it's self was great value for money
We always stop at this hotel when we come to Leeds it's just over from the railway station, the hotel is clean and friendly and the rooms are very good and comfortable.
Great location on City Square, especially if you are travelling to Leeds by train. The check-in was fast, friendly and efficient and it is easy to find your way round the hotel. My room was high up, so I had the most amazing views of the city and beyond. It was really clean and comfortable and there was a fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There were plenty of sockets and the lighting was good in the room. The complimentary toiletries were good quality and the bath and shower worked really well. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on that, but the hotel is right near the train station with plenty of options for places to eat. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to people coming here for work or leisure visits.
We visit Leeds a couple of times a year for minibreaks and this was our first stay here. I got a good deal, being a Radisson loyalty scheme member and I'm happy we stayed here. The location is superb. In the heart of the city centre and very close to the train station. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and the Staff were brilliant in this hotel. Whether it was reception, breakfast service staff, bar staff or staff you saw in the lift- everyone of them was friendly, pleasant and helpful. We had a very spacious room overlooking the city square. We had a great view. The bed was massive and there was a decent size wardrobe, plenty of storage and a decent size wall mounted tv. There was a selection of teas, coffee, biscoff biscuits and sachets of milk. There was also a free safe and fridge. The bathroom was large with a bath and overhead shower. There was wall mounted toiletries in the bath and for the sink. We were very happy with our room. The only 1 negative was that we found the bed hard. Breakfast There was tea and filter coffee available and a good choice of juices. There was cereals, porridge, cheeses, carrot cakes, croissants, danish pastries and some nice bread and bread buns. There was also a selection of cold meat, cheeses etc. The hot food included sausage, bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms, hash brown, tomatoe and black pudding. We found something to like out of this choice, each morning. Out and about We visited for Easter weekend and it was very busy in Leeds. The indoor market has many food choices with food from around the globe. Worth a visit for lunch or a hot drink. The corn exchange was busy, with quirky shops and independent traders. There was a fantastic young pianist in the Trinity Centre, a good selection of shops too. We visited an eclectic range of bars during our stay including Whitelocks, Cuthbert Broderick, O'Neiils, Bootleggers, The Ship and The Pack Horse. We love Leeds and feel like it has something for everyone. We were offered a discount code for parking by the hotel and parked at Q park Sovereign St. It was still expensive at £63 for 2 nights. I'd suggest searching for the best deal before booking car parking. I had a brief look after already paying for parking and it would have been cheaper to park at the Q park in Albion St or the train station car park. The roads are not good for drivers in Leeds. There's lots of diversions in place too. We're due back in Leeds later this year and we might use the trains. If you book up around 12 weeks before your visit you should get a better price. Our trip this time was short notice which is why we visited by car. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Leeds.
This hotel was excellent, great location and suburb rooms, almost touching Leeds Station. Very friendly and helpful staff.
