This hotel is in a very business area of Shanghai. It is located literally a few hundred meters from a Metro Station. The room was very clean. The bathroom was a very good size with a nice shower and very soft towels. Amenities were nice and the decor was very office like with lowered lights like you were in a study. Wi-Fi was fast enough for what I needed. I just wish the bed were a little softer.
Stayed here during a visit to a conference in a hotel close by. The location of the hotel is excellent. Less than 5 minutes away from SML mall, a metro station and Tianzifang shopping area. My only complaint might be the hard mattress in room. Maybe it's the standard in China? Had a good sleep nonetheless. Had breakfast in the morning which was also good. Staff even leave bananas in room everyday.
Great location--a short 2 minute walk to SML Center, a large 5 story mall with a touristy shopping area right behind the mall. Maid service was helpful (communicated with gestures) and friendly. Hotel was in OK condition--could use some updating, but it's okay for the price. Hot shower, clean sheets, king bed, good view. Front desk service wasn't all that helpful in getting around as most didn't speak English, but that wasn't an expectation. Wifi was good when it worked, but was in and out a lot of the time. Something to be aware of: CONSTRUCTION!!!!!! Loud loud loud banging due to this construction. It mostly stopped at night (from maybe 5/6 pm-7 am), but still very annoying and loud during the day. Business folks beware if you plan to work at the hotel during the day!! There is a starbucks across the street, but you need a Chinese phone number to connect. Other cafes around to connect to wifi at, though--just might need to hunt for them. Overall I'd stay here again, but for no longer than a couple nights.
