Excellent location, next to the train station and the park. Very good breakfast. Sublime vue from superior room
The hotel is in Central Helsinki, about half an hour away from the Vantaa airport. It is also right beside the Helsinki Central Station (railway), there's a shortcut in case you are in a hurry and we were notified of this by a kind staff at the reception. This goes to say that the hospitality was also good. The rooms though on the smaller side were quiet and clean with comfortable bed. There is an open wardrobe. We loved the in-room Nespresso machine. The bathrooms were also clean with usual amenities. The food at the restaurant is also good. The breakfast buffet had a vast and excellent spread including some local food. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
A really good Radisson. The hotel seems very new and nice everywhere The rooms are nice and clean, with everything you need. The breakfast was super good and can be highly recommended. The staff was friendly and helpful. A really good hotel in the center of Helsinki!
Very nice hotel in central Helsinki. The hotel is new and everything is clean and nice. Comfortable beeds, quiet rooms. Good breakfast and also good dinner in the evening. A special thanks to Sam and Lotta in the restaurant and reception. They really know what good customer service is and they both have a really ”Yes i Can” attitude!
If you want to have a nice relaxing vacation then Radisson Red Helsinki is the best hotel for it. I've been here for 2 times and will certainly come back again. Hotel is new and this fact already gives it a big advantage. Rooms are really quiet - hotel was fully booked but I didn't hear anything. I really like the big windows in superior rooms with a nice view over the city or the Kaisaniemi park. This time I got a room with a bath and it really is a cool thing to relax in a bath and have a nice view over the city and park. Hotel is nice and modern and has a cool active vibe and the same goes for the staff. They are nice and friendly and certainly work hard for you to enjoy your stay. Also the location is great, just up the stairs, down the stairs, little walk and you are on the platforms of the central railway station. Walk to the closest tram station other to the metro takes just a few minutes. Also shops, cafes and pubs are nice and close. The park area near the hotel has kind of the feeling that you don't want to walk there at night but no need to worry, the main entrance is to the side of the street and Helsinki is a safe city. If you are used to bigger breakfast selections like in Radisson blu hotels then you might be a little bit disappointed with the selection of breakfast at first, but even though the selection isn't big, the quality and taste is very good. And all "standard" options for breakfast are there so no need to worry. And of course all lactose and gluten free options + vegan options. Overall, I say it again, it is certainly one of the best hotels where I have been and I want and will come back. The vibe, nice rooms and the best reception staff makes it truly a nice experience. And a special thanks to Simon for a nice surprise and a card in my room!
