Radisson Plodvid is better known as Imperial Hotel. It is a big building covering huge area of lawn and parking. Our check in was smooth with very friendly and helping staff at front desk. Room is good with all needed facilities. They provide drinking water in reusable glass water . Good choice of tea. coffee and chocolate drink in room . Breakfast was big spared with good taste. They are offering guests to take fruits with them if they so wish. Ask for some services which write provided within no time.
The title of this review says it all! Fabulous service, medium firm mattress (which I love!!!), everything clean, extremely friendly and attentive employees, excellent food (I have no words to describe it). My only minor complaint was the almost constant smoke smell in the corridor, which sometimes entered my room (this level should have been smoke-free). They were indeed so kind as to offer me to change to another room, but I was already installed and decided to remain. Also, the bathtub was leaking, making the ground wet every time I took a shower, but I didn't inform them (my fault). If you ask me, I will definitely recommend this hotel. The main reasons: friendly staff, cleanness, and EXCELLENT food!
I stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Plovdiv for a business trip, but it honestly felt like a vacation. The spa, the Whiskey Library, and the food at the 42 Restaurant turned what could have been a routine stay into something exceptional. The gym was also cool, and all the members of the staff were amazing. All service - exceptional. Special thanks to the young guy who's working at the Whiskey Library - his knowledge, hospitality, and attention to detail made the experience unforgettable for me. Highly recommended whether you’re here for business or leisure.
We spent two weeks at the Radisson Hotel Plovdiv this summer and it was outstanding in every way. We originally picked it because of the good rates and reviews, without knowing much about Plovdiv, but by the end of our trip we were completely won over by both the hotel and the city. At check-in we were warmly welcomed and thanked for being Radisson Rewards VIP members. We were upgraded to a superior room on the top floor with a wonderful view of the city. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless, and it was perfect for a longer stay. A small plate of treats waiting for us on arrival was a very nice gesture. The breakfast buffet was excellent every day, with a generous variety of Bulgarian specialties and international favorites. We especially liked the rotating cakes and the lemon-ginger booster shot each morning. The restaurant and room service were just as good. Among our favorite dishes were the shopska salad, melitzano salad, chicken chop, veal tagliatelle, slow-cooked beef, and the saltimbocca. We enjoyed the spa and its treatments, and I also rented one of the e-bikes to explore the city. But the real gem was the 24-hour bar, which became our favorite place to unwind. It had a great selection at reasonable prices, and the bartenders were so friendly and fun to talk with. The reception staff were equally helpful, whether it was calling taxis, giving advice about the city, or even arranging an appointment with an English-speaking eye doctor when I needed one. They were always there with a smile and genuine care. During our stay we did encounter one issue, but the way management handled it went far beyond what we expected. They opened the Whisky Library — a truly beautiful and unique space — just for us and arranged a private whisky tasting at sunset. That evening was magical and will remain one of our best memories of the whole trip. What sets this hotel apart isn’t just the immaculate facilities or the excellent food. It’s the people. The staff here genuinely have heart, and the management clearly puts their guests first. They really “get it,” and that makes all the difference. A heartfelt thank you to Vasko, Petko, Petar, and Nikol for making us feel so welcome. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to return.
The room was very large and spacious, and the breakfast - spectacular. Free parking in the garden. Staff are friendly.
