Super service and excellent breakfast, to our surprise a free dinner was included. Our room was clean and very nice.

On our way from Sweden to Belgium we looked for a place to spend the night. Hotel Sorø was perfect. Clean rooms, good beds and a friendly and welcoming team. Dinner was simple but very good.

This hotel is atypical in every way, but in a very special and pleasant way. The staff does not stand around waiting for customers to meet them, but the transactions are partly based on self-service, including payment. If a customer needs help in these situations, they can get it by pressing a call button. This can be strange if you are used to the fact that the staff is present all the time. It was new to us too. The staff arrived when needed. We were surprised how well everything still worked. The food was good, the breakfast was good. Our room was large and functional. The entire staff was very, very friendly.

Very friendly obliging staff who were happy to help with any queries. Check in was seamless as was checkout. Bar area very quiet until last night when a conference group were eating/drinking there. Otherwise just us 3.

I was hesitant to come to a hotel chain and to a property I am not familiar with. At the end, my stay exceeded my expectations. Everything was wonderful, the staff was very efficient, professional but at the same time friendly. The hotel felt chic but not pretentious. A hard to achive balance. Breakfast is superb. The quality deserves 6 out of 5! The only negative during my stay is that there was no espresso in breakfast, and ordering espresso is an extra charge. It absolutely does not make sense. There are even bitters like Jagermeisters etc on the offer in the breakfast, but on the other hand there is no espresso ! Senseless. But everything else was great. Also, in the room there was a nice Nespresso machine but a kettle will be a good addition. But overall this is a special property.
