It was my first time to Izhevsk, and to the hotel in June of 2018 ( World Cup ) I feel that the hotel, and staff are deserving of a very positive review. I stayed for a fortnight in a suite, and was pleasantly surprised with my room, furnishings, and cleanliness. The beds are very comfortable, ample cupboard space, and large bathroom with toiletries. Room service is daily, and they do a fine job indeed. I also had clothes sent to their in-house laundry service, and was always impressed with their service. The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff! Any business, or organisation are only as good as the people that represent it. And I must say they are a credit to the Park Inn group. From the front desk, restaurants, spa, gift shop, cleaning, room service, car park, bar, were all very obliging with a good level of English. I was very spoilt for choice with the in house dining, outdoor café ( summer ) and the wonderful German themed restaurant! I have travelled extensively over the world, and the Chef and his staff make some of the tastiest food I’ve ever experienced! Not to mention the large selection of beers and drinks. The last night of my stay, Elena and some staff from Brauplatz ( German Bar ) had organised a small gift for me, and a group photo together! The kindness was greatly appreciated. I will be returning at the years end and look forward to returning to my 2nd home in Russia, and hope to some again some of the wonderful staff that made such an impression on me.
I like this hotel a lot and would love to stay there a second time. However people from US and western side should be aware of bath tub sizes. They are a bit narrow with tall boards. If you are not used to it it is easy to slip. Otherwise good place to stay. Convenient location, good price and nice restaurant.
Staff are amazing and can speak EnglishAlways helping with all the needsSwimming pool is small but ok for kidsGym facility is nice however I prefer if it’s bigger Breakfast needs to improve by adding more varieties
Very nice and friendly staff! Hotel is located in the city center, has 2 very tasty restaurant, definitely the best place to stay and eat in town. Room is spacious with nice view on the cathedral. On arrival I received a fruit plate as a compliment from the hotel. I definitely recommend Park Inn to anyone traveling to Izhevsk
Stayed for only one night while city-hopping around Russia. Great place. No trouble communicating with staff in English. As others have mentioned, location is pretty much smack dab in the middle of town. Check in was a breeze, and the room was impeccably clean. Shower water pressure was robust and refreshing. Did not sample the breakfast. Wifi requires the usual two-factor-ish authentication that is typical in Russia, meaning you have to enter a Russian phone number (e.g., +7 dialing code) to which some automated system will place a call, after which you'll be prompted to enter a few of the digits associated with the number placing that call. Bed was a single layer spring mattress that was a bit too firm to my liking. Other than that, no gripes.
