We stayed at Crystals Beach Resort, Belle Mare. The resort was absolutely amazing. Eza assisted us with basically everything. We took a speedboat trip to 3 islands and had a barbeque lunch before returning. This was the highlight for the kids. The aqualand at the Resort is an added benefit especially if you have children with you. One thing that I can advise though, is to not to hire a vehicle through Hope vehicle hire. That experience was terrible. They also arranged a "free" transfer for us from the resort to the airport. The driver drove like a complete moron to the point that my daughter and husband had to shout at him to stop so that they could get out and throw-up because of his driving.

We had a brilliant time at Crystals Beach resort, travelling as a family with 14&18 years old. Upon arrival we were upgraded to interconnecting rooms which were spacious, clean and have very comfortable beds. The beach was stunning, soft white sand and crystal clear water. The free water sports were great for keeping us entertained as were the organised volleyball games. The snorkelling is brilliant. The food in the buffet is fresh and varied, we enjoyed the salads, grilled meat & fish and curry’s. The on site restaurants are available to book for as many evenings as you want and offer a nice alternative to the buffet, with a range of tasty options. Service in the restaurants was fantastic from Anish and Akash. We booked taxis from reception for a southern island tour and a trip to Flacq market. We also booked 5 islands speedboat tour via the ‘boat house’ on the beach and we had the best experience, thanks to Chris and his team for this excellent experience. Crystals is a lovely laid back family resort.
