"Excellent hotel, very reasonably priced"

The only problem with this hotel, which is on the seafront on the outskirts of Colombo, is that many tuk-tuk drivers do not know where it is. This, we discovered, was because it is known by locals by the name that it had until the Radisson group bought it about a year ago. Don't be put off by the office-block external appearance. The inside is much nicer and the rooms are very comfortable indeed and have every amenity. The breakfast buffet is superb and the staff were exceptionally helpful in helping us with travel arrangements and with a technical problem that my friend was having with her iPhone. If I go back to Colombo, I will certainly stay here again.

What an amazing experience . Loved our stay at Radisson hotel Colombo. We stayed there for 4 days with my family . The staff were amazing , breakfast spread was good , ambience is nice . Special thanks to Gayani , Thanu , Manoj and the F&B Staff . Loved the room and the view. Worth every penny spent. We stayed on the 12th floor and the room was amazing too.

"Still Special, Yet Missing That Personal Touch"

As VIP members of Radisson, we have been visiting this property since its OZO days, for almost a decade now. Over the years, this place has become very special to us, and we have always felt valued and warmly welcomed. However, during this stay, we truly felt the absence of Mr. Bhauka. There is a huge difference, and we genuinely miss him. His presence, leadership, warmth, and personal attention always made our visits exceptional. This stay reminded us that it’s the people who truly make the difference in hospitality. Facilities matter, but it’s the team that creates lasting memories. We would especially like to appreciate Chamodh Madushan, F&B Executive. His professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly personality stood out throughout our stay. He always ensures everything runs smoothly and consistently delivers service with a genuine smile. His commitment to guest satisfaction truly reflects the spirit of hospitality. Thank you Chamodh!! We would also like to thank the new addition to the team, the Guest Relations Executive: Thanu for the warm welcome and assistance. It’s encouraging to see dedicated individuals continuing to uphold the service standards we’ve come to expect. Thank you to Chef Gamunu Wijerathne — his hoppers are simply outstanding. Always fresh, perfectly made, and absolutely delicious. Thanks to Samith Lalantha, F&B Attendant, for his friendly approach and prompt service. His positive attitude and willingness to assist did not go unnoticed. I truly feel that Sampath Algama is stepping into Mr. Bhauka’s role through his attentive and thoughtful service. A sincere thank you to him for personally handling and making my booking so smoothly. Overall, it was a pleasant stay — but we certainly felt the difference and sincerely miss Mr. Bhauka. We look forward to seeing the same warmth and personal touch that has kept us returning for nearly ten years.

"Nice location"

The hotel was a little far from the airport. The check in was smooth and since we requested 3 beds, they were already put in place before we arrived.  The room size was decent and enough to keep 3 bags. The bathroom was well equipped with all toiletries.  The shower was very nice, hot and excellent pressure.  Our room was overlooking the sea. We didn't take breakfast so can't comment on it. Checkout was also swift n smooth.  Overall a nice experience for an overnight stay.

"Excellent service at restaurant"

Our first night at the Radisson at Colombo, we treated ourselves to the buffet menu. The food was excellent. The evening was made even better by the excellent service provided by Samith. His manner and demeanor all evening was very efficient and friendly, but he went above that when he went out of his way to get someone to make us some perfect cocktails to save us going upstairs for them. He is an excellent representative of the hotel. A enjoyable evening.
