Beyond the beautifully renovated architecture, the location is perfect and the staff just as amazing. It is a quick walk to the harbor, or to any of the amazing restaurants Como has to offer. The concierge was so helpful recommending wonderful restaurants for our family. Don’t miss a drink at the rooftop bar, the drinks and snacks are perfetto!

I just experienced a fabulous stay at Palazzo San Gottardo Lake Como. Great location, fantastic bedding (I had the best sleep), great gym, fantastic staff. This is a brand new hotel, it is extremely clean, sound proofed, …The concierge went out of her way to ensure I had the best experience after a little mishap with the car valet, she really exceeded all my expectations. This hotel is great value for $$ compared to some of the extravagant hotels along the lake. I highly recommend!

Exceeding 1'000 hotel stays, I have finally found a hotel that I would return to and enjoy again. If you've ever experienced in what type of comfort and design you would do for yourself and be consimed by inspiration, then this property may just do the same for you as it did for me. My expectations were well exceeded and I look forward to returning.

Palazzo San Gottardo is, quite simply, one of the finest hotels on Lake Como - and the competition up here is fierce. Housed in a beautifully restored 1920s palazzo right in the heart of Como, the property blends early-20th-century grandeur with sharp, contemporary Italian design. Bespoke furnishings, clean lines, and an attention to craftsmanship that runs throughout every corner of the building. What struck us immediately, though, was how impeccably maintained it all is - scrupulously clean in a way that genuinely impressed, from the suites down to the smallest details. The staff were exceptional. Warm, professional, and quietly attentive without ever being intrusive - the kind of team that makes a hotel stay feel effortless. Nothing was too much trouble. But the crown jewel is Lumi, the rooftop bar and terrace. The views over Lake Como are simply unrivalled - one of those rare vistas that makes you put your phone down and just... look. Whether you're there for a pre-dinner cocktail or watching the light fade over the water, it's a setting that will stay with you long after you've checked out. We will absolutely be returning.
