The SPA is great but you need to book a massage ahead of time. Pool & gym never crowed. (robertomU6975ZI)
If arriving by car best to use the main entrance, but when you go out/leave there is a lower gate that will save heaps of time in traffic.(gentleBrisbane)
Rooms are not airconditioned; ask for a portable fan on warm nights.
Leave by 6:00am to secure parking at most trail heads in peak season(S D)

Seeing the Paralympic Wheelchair Curling on two(2) different days was just wonderful and what a holiday! The hotel was superb as usual; the Breakfast Buffet is matchless, as is the wait service. Trust me this standard of breakfast is NOT typical of all 5 Star hotels nor is the service. The view from the windows in bars and eating areas, as well as my room was beautiful and unique. The room, exceptionally clean, no surprises there, Dora and her team work very hard indeed. I should even mention the hand and body creme provided in the bathroom, it really was excellent and I wish I had used it earlier. My skin loved it. All in all, # 1 location, #1 hotel and #1 Customer Service! Regarding the Middle East conflict and future energy shortages I can only hope that it will be possible to return. Thank you all Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d'Ampezzo personnel for helping me have the best holiday ever.

An excellent experience topped up by charming staff and 5-star standards. The food in the bar was delicious, the bar well stocked and a very good piano player/singer every night. The bedroom was very well appointed, and the ski room outstanding with a very helpful attendant there. To top it all off we had a car breakdown and were completely abandoned at night 30 km away by the useless Europcar rental and rescued thanks to the fantastic concierge service. Highly recommended!

We are staying locally at an air bnb for the Winter Olympics. We came for drinks last night on my 50th birthday. Even though we are not staying, the bar staff gave me a small birthday pudding with a candle and the service was impeccable. We are back today for post Olympic drinks and have now booked for dinner later this evening. Again, all staff amazing but in particular Nicola - he has been fantastic and I hope his attentive customer service is recognised by the hotel. Can’t wait to book to come and actually stay here on our next ski trip. Thank you so much for making my 50th birthday so memorable ❤️

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Savoia in Cortina was exceptional. Luca, his front desk staff and the restaurant staff were professional and so nice. We will stay here upon our visit each year. Thank you!
