I stayed at the Radisson Royal for five nights on trip with my son. The hotel is a nice respite. It's nicely decorated, clean, modern and very comfortable. We found the room generous compared to many European hotels. But the best thing about it was the location. One block from the Metro in one direction. Two blocks from Copenhagen Central Station in another direction, Tivoli across the street and within easy walking distance of most neighborhoods on the itinerary. We were on a high floor on the even number side and were able to watch the Tivoli Saturday night fireworks from our room!
For Arne Jacobsen and design lovers, this hotel is a must. The concierge Simon went out of his way to be helpful and showed us the original room 606 and the panorama suite, which were amazing. Thank you Simon!!
Location ans staff services are great. Food is average. Very convenient to walk around major attractions.
We got to the hotel after a cruise early in the morning and were unable to check in early, so we left our bags. The room was ready at 3pm exactly as per check in time. We were given room 1206. The room was gigantic! There was a separate walk in robe, separate makeup room type area leading into a bathroom. The lounge area and bed was separated by a large revolving TV. The bed was very comfortable, there was a separate bath and shower and the shower had great water pressure. Unfortunately with the setup, you can't help but get water everywhere when having a shower, so some extra towels are handy. There was only one towel in the room when we arrived, so I asked for an extra one and got given an extra hand towel and bath mat as well. The aircon worked well and there was also a large wall of windows, some of which could open part way. The view was amazing, looking over Tivoli gardens and Central Station area. There were two free bottles of water in the room. The location was amazing. Outside was the stop for the hop on hop off bus and Central Station was only a few minutes walk away.
I stayed at this fabulous hotel with my Mum for a week and we had the best time. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Simon on concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and Nani made our check-in welcoming and was very attentive. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had such beautiful views, which made the stay feel even more special. The hotel was located in a really handy spot next to the train station for easy travel to/from the airport, and right next to Tivoli gardens! A wonderful experience from start to finish - we would highly recommend it.
