Lovely hotel, just outside the town, with extensive parking. Rooms were spacious, clean and bright - and quiet at night. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel were good. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Excellent value for B&B. Close to beaches, town and sights- e.g. Lissadell House. Overall a very good experience- would recommend.
Cannot praise the staff enough. From the receptionists to the waiters and waitresses. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We stayed here for a wedding and the service was brilliant. They were so attentive to everyone. Would like to say a special thank you to Andrew and Aisling. They went above and beyond and I can safely say that the hotel is blessed to have them.
We were celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary and took the family away to Rosses Point to celebrate. There were 10 adults and 5 children in the party. Check-in was seamless even though we arrived a little early . Everyone was happy with their rooms and beds and cots assigned to the right people. We went to the pool with all the family for an hour and virtually had it to ourselves for the hour. The pool is lovely. We had booked an early dinner at 6.30 because of the children . We had the set menu and I must say that the meal was really good. The service was also excellent and as we had 3 infants we needed 3 high chairs which were in situ when we arrived. The weather played its part over the weekend to make it a really enjoyable experience. The outside patio area in front of the hotel was really lovely in the sunshine
Stayed in the Sensory Jr Suite as we have an Autistic Child. Room was exceptional, very clean, large space, full of Sensory lights, sensory toys and large Sensory cube which my child absolutely loved. The sensory room really helped keep my Autistic child very calm and regulated for our entire stay which made us more relaxed and enjoyed our stay even more. Hotel in great Location, friendly and extremely helpful staff, pool and outdoor areas are great. I highly recommend this Room and this Hotel to any parent with a child with ASD or any child with Sensory issues.
Enjoyed a couple of pints of Guinness and a fish and chip supper in the bar after a long days travel when, as my plate was taken away, the waiter asked me if all was ok when he saw the chips left on the plate. It was kind of him to ask and I said I was perfectly happy although the chips weren’t quite as I’d hoped, not fully cooked and perhaps a little cool but nothing to complain about. Moments later a young besuited manager appeared showing genuine concern that I might not have fully enjoyed my supper and offered to make amends which was quite necessary. Bit of a long winded report I know but one which I hope will reflect positively on those concerned and any future quests feeling hesitant. Changed my approach to ‘chain’ hotels.
