Great location overlooking the river and in the old town. Good service from all staff. Our room was very comfortable overlooking the river. Breakfast was good with excellent service and the the breakfast room overlooks the river. Very much enjoyed our four night stay.

Perfect location, 10 mins by taxi from the train station positioned overlooking the river and with direct access to the quaint streets of Salzburg Old Town. The building has some age to it and is really in keeping with the whole atmosphere of Salzburg. The staff were so welcoming, and we were very grateful for the upgrade we received. We booked breakfast which was delicious, the restaurant overlooks the river with great views, good selection of cold food but not so much hot food available. We used the Alstadt Cafe which is part of the hotel for drinks in the evening. Average prices for Salzburg, great to sit out in the street and the staff were brilliant. We will defiantly return to Salzburg and when we do we’ll stay again at the Altstadt Hotel.

As a visitor from Kenya on my very first trip to Austria, I had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Salzburg, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. After travelling from Vienna to explore the beauty, history, and culture of Salzburg, I could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Old Town, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city’s famous attractions on foot. Most of Salzburg’s key tourist sites are within walking distance, and the hotel is surrounded by charming shops, cafés, and excellent restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Every area was impeccably maintained, and the room was comfortable, welcoming, and spotless throughout my stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, which made me feel genuinely welcome. What impressed me most was the unique combination of historic surroundings and modern comfort. Staying in such a beautiful location allowed me to fully appreciate Salzburg’s rich culture, stunning architecture, and timeless charm. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg, whether for leisure or business. It provided the perfect base for discovering one of Austria’s most beautiful cities. Absolutely amazing Hotel. From Staff to location to room quality was cleanliness. The breakfast was amazing also. The staff went out of the way for the kid to make something that was not on the menu just to keep them happy since it was our last day there.

This hotel was fabulous for our quick trip to Salzburg. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The staff was very attentive, especially Jordi-Lewis in the restaurant. He was friendly and engaging. It was a great way to start our day.
