Although I have rated this 5 star, with some reservations - We stayed for 1 week 7- 14th March in room 430 - beautiful views of the sea & Pool . Room was very comfortable- cleaning staff very efficient and helpful. As you would expect from a 5 star hotel - in room tea/coffee facilities- this on arrival consisted of 1 tea bag, a few sachets of coffee and sugar - plus two Paper Cups. After making a request at reception for additonal tea bags- and reminding them that 5 star hotels should not be using paper cups - two china mugs were replaced.
European visitors now are very health conscious, and although the breakfast selection was good, fresh fruit was very limited, on most mornings consisted of just Oranges, Dates and mixed cocktail fruit. No banana's, kiwi's fruit, melon etc. We had on two occasions fresh strawberries- which were delicious, and on one morning asked the waiter- and he did bring a plate of strawberries for us to share.
It was a delight to consume our breakfast outside with the sea only a couple of metre's away- the waiting staff and breakfast chef, always took the time to greet us each morning and speak.
On a high not - Special mention to Islem - (Concierge Desk) - she was so helpful - gave us recommendations of restaurants to eat for dinner and place bookings for us.
She also gave us information on the local area- cost of taxi prices and places to visit, ie Friday market in Nabul.
She was always very happy, and always took the time to greet us each morning or when passing the front desk- she was kind, friendly yet professional.
Please pass on our best wishes- in fact all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
Apart from the two minor problems we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and returning.
P.S. Hotel can arrange transfers to and from the airports- although please get them to check with the car company the night before that the booking has been confirmed.
