I regularly go to the Oroklini Radisson hotel in Cyprus throughout the year because not only do we like the excellent coffees and pastries, the staff are so welcoming and friendly, particularly a young woman (I believe her name is Christina) and the young man who often is on duty with her.

I had a good experience staying at the Radisson Blu in Larnaca for a week in May. I was there for some legal formalities but stayed for a week with my wife to have a break. The hotel itself is nice - we had a family room for the extra space and that made it more comfortable. The rooms have (almost) blackout curtains and soundproof windows that keep out the traffic noise, apart from souped up car exhausts and unsilenced motorbikes (common in Greece and Cyprus). As for facilities there is a good sized, outdoor swimming pool and and OK gym (to be honest it could be bigger and have more equipment, but it is usable). The restaurant is good - I have to say the breakfast was one of the nicest hotel breakfasts I have had in years. We also lunch and dinner there sometimes and these were good. They staff were always willing to help and accommodate as we are gluten free. That brings me to the main point why I give a 5 star rating - the staff. All of them are brilliant, and they make staying there a really great experience. Not all 5 star chains have such great staff - they are genuinely warm and friendly, in a very Cypriot way. While it is a little unfair to call some out, I have to mention Maria from Guest Relations and Irene from the restaurant. Maria went out of her way to make sure we were happy - helping us to get a room on a higher floor and sending maintenance quickly for any issues. Irene was warm Cypriot hospitality itself - making sure we got what food we wanted and adding some treats. I have travelled a lot and this is one of the best sets of staff I have met. I need to go back later in the year, and although I could go to a beach resort I will be coming back here to among "friends".

We stayed here for a few nights in May. Hotel is in excellent shape, room was lovely, and staff were fantastic. Sushi in the hotel restaurant surprisingly good!

Excellent hotel. Massoud at reception is exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was superb with great gluten free options. If I come to Larnanca again, I will definitely pick this hotel again.
