Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Gothenburg - TripAdvisor traveler rating

We had a family trip to Gothenburg, and had a great experience in this hotel. The whole family slept very well, and the staff was very professional. The breakfast was great with many organic alternatives like for instance organic coffee. The orange juice had great quality, and the whole atmosphere in the hotel is very nice and comfortable. This is an excellent location to experience Gothenburg by foot.

I had such a lovely stay and would like to give a special thank you to Lauren, who went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special. ❤️ Lauren took the time to understand my needs and made such a thoughtful effort to make me feel valued. She arranged for fruit to be brought to my room and even decorated the room as a surprise. It was such a beautiful and personal touch, and I truly appreciated the thought and care she put into it. The staff were all welcoming and professional, but Lauren really stood out. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel and a true example of excellent customer service. Thank you, Lauren, for helping make my birthday stay so memorable. I really appreciate everything you did. ❤️

Great for business and a trip to the city. Good staff, clean, food and drink option, great lobby. All round good experience

Great hotel location—a short 2-minute walk to the Central Train Station does the trick, especially for someone unfamiliar with the city. The lobby is a very elegant, colorful, and comfortable space, making it immediately clear where everything is. A cool touch is the glass elevators overlooking the bar, restaurant, and the entire interior of the building, complete with a nice detail of small balconies outside every room. I arrived quite early and was on a tight schedule for my next event. However, after a pleasant friendly chat at the front desk, Matilda and her female colleague managed to find me an executive room, allowing me to check in much earlier. This is exactly how reception should always work. Timing was extremely important to me that day! In the evening, the beautifully lit interior highlighted the modern design. Absolute cleanliness. Despite round-the-clock tram service (it was a Saturday), nothing disturbed my sleep—it was quiet, peaceful, and I woke up feeling genuinely well-rested. The breakfast was good and varied, offering all kinds of options. Upon departure, the front desk team (Matilda’s colleague... I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name, but you know who I was... Sep 26/27, room 369) asked how my stay was. Thank you both so much for helping with the early check-in!

Spacious hotel with everything right. The location is good, the breakfast is good. Clearly Radisson is different in Scandinavia.
