Nice hotel in very busy Dhaka. Close to the airport too. My driver KAJAL was fantastic, very warm welcoming and also a former army as myself! The start was pretty good

My third visit to this lovely property in Dhaka. Everytime I stayed there, it was for a conference and the venue was the same. So it was great to stay in the venue itself avoiding the chaotic Dhaka traffic. Total protection! Rooms are quite large in size, comfortable in every respect. Cleanliness is top-class. The locker in the room was not working when I walked in and upon complaining, was attended to with promptness following protocol. A security officer came with a logbook, took my signature and the technician did the corrective action. Welcome drink, easy check-in, welcome fruits added to the charm. The bed is comfortable. I like their Earth brand bathroom amenities. Oh yes, I do like their Coffeemate creamer and Nescafe. My favourite. What I did not like? Their electronic clock. Everytime you set, it lasts for only that night or till the time you go out. Once the room power goes off, the electronic clock also loses its setting and when you come back you need to set it again. It is so irritating. This time, I never bothered to check it at all. I would like to personally thank three of their staff members - two are from the lobby area. Nasimul and Mostafa. They made sure that I was comfortable in every respect. Very good....my sincere thanks to them. Similarly their chauffeur Nazmul also to be appreciated. After I got down at the airport (on way back to India), I walked toward a gate where the waiting time for entry would have been quite significant. Seeing me walking in the wrong direction, he came running from the car and guided me to the gate number 6 (reserved for important people and visiting dignitaries) which made my life easier. Thanks a lot to him... Looking forward to be there again...nice hotel and nice people...
