We didn’t have a great start, when we first checked in, and I’m not going into details otherwise it’ll be a boring read. However.……We cannot thank Lewis (the duty manager) enough for going above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one. He collected our luggage and showed us to our new room. WOW! We had been upgraded to a junior suite, and what a room this is. We have never been upgraded or stayed in a suite before. If you’re not great with heights then don’t bother as it’s on the 20th floor. There’s only 21!! We had 2 tv’s, 1 in the lounge area, the other in the bedroom. An espresso machine, fridge, ironing board, hairdryer, slippers, dressing gowns, everything really you’d expect in a suite. The breakfasts here have always been great, and the selection is wide. To be honest all the staff we met over the weekend were polite and very helpful.
We both work in the hospitality industry and really appreciate what Lewis had done for us. It’s not an easy line of work and everyone is quick to have a moan up. So it’s times like these that Lewis should get a mention.
We can’t thank you enough for making our stay with you one of the best. Please pass our thanks on to all of your team and keep up the great work. Thanks again Lewis, we’ll hopefully see you soon.
