Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town - TripAdvisor traveler rating

This hotel was recommended by the travel agent used for 2 weeks in South Africa. Although I do not stay at Radisson Hotels in the U.S. as a Marriott and Hilton rewards member, I thought what the heck, a travel agent wouldn't steer us wrong on such a lengthy 2 week adventure. And she did not. The hotel was great. Extremely friendly staff, nice size room and bath, lovely waterfront restaurant, some nice shops inside the hotel as well as a coffee bar, and a complimentary wine/charcuterie happy hour. Plus, my favorite staff member who made our restaurant time looking onto the bay so warm and friendly, Tamara (last name ?Achlule?). She and her team truly made us feel so welcomed and appreciated.

Wonderful stay made even better by a welcoming warm staff. Enjoy the sounds of the surf crashing on the rocks below as you watch the surfers, catamarans, kayaks and dolphins go by.

Beautiful location and wonderful staff. We ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and enjoyed breakfast there each morning. Everyone was amazing but, in particular, we appreciated the service from Simamkele. He smiled, laughed and joked whilst being completely attentive with his service. A wonderful young man.

The most amazing staff and lovely hotel. Had a great experience in this hotel, even when my partner got quite ill during our stay. The hotel could not have done anything else to help out they organised the doctor within an hour and medication to be delivered and continuously checked on my partner‘s health and recovery. Not only that the staff were unbelievable In particular, C -jay who was our waiter for a number of nights and remembered everything we liked where we like to sit could not be more helpful and attentive to make our experience wonderful and the best it could be. The food at the hotel was better than any of the restaurants we went to in Cape Town. Not only did CJ recommend different foods that he thought we might like for our previous orders and wine orders. He just made our experience at the hotel, want to remember one of many in the team of staff that helped make our holiday want to remember would highly recommend would definitely come back here without looking at any other hotels .

Visited as a family. Queen on reception was especially welcoming and attentive. She promised dolphin sightings from our balcony and she delivered!! The concierge service was also exceptionally and knowledgeable. He arranged an excellent tour for us and followed up to ensure we’d had a good time. All in all thoroughly recommended
