Absolutely wonderful experience, the staff were lovely and very accommodating☺️, the room was lovely and the beds are so comfortable to sleep in. Credit to all staff for a wonderful experience.

"Anniversary stay"

We had a really lovely stay and were particularly impressed by the Timi who offered us an upgrade on check-in because we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. This was very much appreciated and the room was just fabulous

Great stay! Love the pool. Lovely huge patio overlooking the Shannon for drinks and quick food. Order taken at the bar, and paid for then delivered to table outside. Lovely breakfasts included. Entertainment was lovely, good to have live music. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Funny though, I think someone left their phone in the bed, couldn't find it but it kept ringing. Hope housekeeping could.

"Lovely hotel, centrally located"

I found the Radisson Blu to be a lovely hotel located in the center of Athlone. Steps away from the Castle, walking distance to the train station, next door to St. Peter & Paul's Cathedral. The staff was wonderful, especially Tulay, who packed us a take way bag with some breakfast treats on our last day, as we had to catch a 9 am train. She is a lovely employee.
