Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone - TripAdvisor traveler rating

Great location on the river at the pedestrian bridge. Huge bed with firm mattress so got a great night's sleep. A desk that is a decent size and shape for working at. Marina Club restaurant was good quality and value. Breakfast was nice, little things like Whelans sausages rather poor quality sausages some hotels serve. Gym is a good for hotel with all the free weights and machines needed to do a full workout. Nice sized sauna, steam room and pool. Id recommend this place when in Athlone

Great hotel,ideally located on the River Shannon,room perfect mattress so comfortable .Met the lovely restaurant manager Avril who went above and beyond with her helpful and friendly approach .Thanks Ger & Fionnuala

We stayed for 1 night on a tour of Ireland, the reception staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was spacious, tidy and the cleaning standard was very good, it's centrally located not far from the town centre that has a good range of pubs and restaurants. We would recommend this hotel it has a couple of restaurants inside that we didn't try but they looked extremely relaxing, with lovely decor and views.

My wife and I, visiting from Canada stayed here for one night and had a great experience at the breakfast buffet. The host, Avril, made us feel very welcome and made us laugh so much! Great way to start the day!

We recently stayed at The Radisson Blu Athlone for our daughter's wedding. Because of unfortunate circumstances at another hotel ,the hotel had 2 days to organise the event. It was such a fantastic success from beginning to end . Claire the wedding planner, ensured everything went seamlessly and there were so many touches to make it extra special. Would highly recommend the Radisson Blu for a wedding. It would be hard to surpass.
