The hotel was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfort. Some of the reception staff were very friendly. The breakfast is buffet and its good. There is a good restaurant near the hotel that we recommend!

I have stayed at many HIE hotels and they are fairly similar in setup which is ok - I like their model. Clean and well lit common area, clean room and comfortable bed, free wi-fi and breakfast. Parking is 10 CHF per night. However, what I remember the most is the exceptional service-minded reception staff, especially the man on the evening of May 29th (don't remember his name). So positive and interested in accomodating your needs and even go further. Although the whole stay was very good, this person made it exceptional.

Completed a long solo business trip. Holiday Inn Express was really great for the solo travel. Walking distance from the station makes it an obvious choice for many tourists. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very polite and reliable. Whether it was a taxi request or express laundry, they met the request properly. Breakfast had little variety but that is not a problem with the choice of restaurants nearby. Will look forward to another stay with them shortly.

When traveling far from home, sometimes just a warm and genuine smile can make you realize that you aren't as far away as you might have imagined. Although this is not my first time staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Affoltern am Albis, this is the first time I was moved to write up a review. The hotel is and based on previous stays has always satisfied my needs. Clean, centrally located (just a few meters from the train) and priced well within reason. These are the constants I have encountered at this property. The difference this time around that made a memorable customer experience was my pleasant interactions with Arianna at the front desk. After a long and weary day of traveling, she greeted me with a level of professionalism and courtesy that made me feel at ease. She is new to this particular property, but I could tell she is a veteran when it comes to the hospitality industry. When I inquired about the growth of the area, she was keen to point out what has popped up since my last visit. When I asked about places to eat, she listened and then provided a variety of recommendations and then once I made my selection, she had a voucher for the restaurant I chose. Being in the tech industry, I need to be connected and Arianna helped me when I made a faux pas and forget my power adapters. Lastly, despite waking up late due to jet lag, upon check out, Arianna was there to not only to see me off but to make sure I had something to eat for breakfast, even though breakfast hours had passed. As an experienced Airbnb host, that grew up in the hospitality industry, I know exceptional service when I see it and I highly recommend this property, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express exceeded all expectations, and instead of looking for alternate accommodations upon my future visit, the customer experience Arianna provided ensures that I will be staying there again. IHG is not my preferred chain of hotels, but people like Arianna are making me reconsider my hotel loyalties.

The hotel is very modern, nice close to the restaurants and highway with a very friendly staff and free bus parking for bus groups. I was really satisfied with the level of this hotel. I will obviously come back here again.
