Park Plaza Vondelpark, Amsterdam - TripAdvisor traveler rating

my wife and i stayed for 5 night at the park plaza vondelpark hotel in a,sterdam. for my wife it is the second time she was there for me the first! its a beutiful nice and quiet hotel not in the middle of town but rather next to the lovely vondelpark. the rooms where nice and clean' the breakfast was good' the staff is lovely' helpfull, we enjoyed our stay there and we will be coming back to that hotel when we get back to amsterdam

Cozy, artsy boutique hotel. I stayed for 3 nights last December, arrived early at 7am from a long haul flight. What a wonderful surprise to be offered an early check in for a hot shower and good rest! I love the hotel design and aesthetics. Despite the cold weather, room was cozy and bright. I enjoyed the Elemis amenities, very nice! Shoutout to Weronika, Noelle and the front desk staff who replied my email and in person inquiries. Very helpful! Be sure the try the restaurant too ¨̮

We liked almost everything, the style of the hotel, the choice of colors, the bathroom even small is very smartly done, the bed sheets are perfect. The breakfast was also very good, and the hotel is ideally placed next to the Vondelpark of Amsterdam

Incredible stay from start to finish. The moment we arrived Marcel took care of us and left us in the capable hands of Andre. We were greeted and assisted as soon as our feet hit the lobby floor. Our room was ready early thanks to Emanuel the lovely booking agent. We had given our eta and were so very pleased to find the room ready for us before the usual check in time. Nothing was too much trouble for this team of great people. David in the f&b department was very memorable along with his wonderful associates. He had our table and coffees ready each morning. The chef made special requests for our children at breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was done with a smile and genuine care. Having travelled around the UK and Europe it was a refreshing and welcome change to meet such genuine people who care for their guests and the property they work at. Andre the rooms manager was so helpful and anything we asked for was done without question. We will be returning to this star property regularly. Quiet and atmospheric in the loveliest of locations. Extremely central to the city but without the noise and tourist feel. Gorgeous area surrounding the park with exceptional restaurants and cafes nearby. If you like shopping lovely boutiques and close to the famous street of brands. The park was a regular visit daily for the kids so we loved walking the city and back through the park to the gorgeous residential area surrounding the hotel. Thank you to the whole team who made our trip extremely memorable.

The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. We were greeted by the friendliest lady and made to feel welcome throughout the whole duration of our stay. The location was perfect and would definitely recommend. This hotel is 10 minutes walking distance from the main museums and a further 10 - 15 minute walk from the centre. This city break was a great experience considering me and my friend were two young girls travelling alone for the first time. Very thankful for the staff and location of this hotel.
