I love arriving into London Victoria station and knowing I’m a pleasant 5minute walk to the Park Plaza. The location cannot be beaten - close to the west end shows and just a short wander to Pimlico and Chelsea or to Westminster and Big Ben. I’ve always enjoyed my stays there - the team are warm and friendly and the hotel is situated, for me, in the ultimate sweet spot for exploring. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, though they feel ans if they are becoming smaller over the years. Two suggestions to add to room comfort - change the pillows or offer a choice of pillows; offer distilled water in glass rather than plastic bottles. Looking forward to my return.
We stayed at the park plaza Victoria London for two nights. Firstly we were upgraded and we have to say that Daniel went above and beyond for us. Nothing was to much trouble. He was so welcoming and made our stay lovely. He is a real asset to the hotel. Complimentary breakfast we had too. Honestly what a lovely guy and everything he did for us made our stay wonderful. We have stayed in so many nice hotels but this one was second to none and we will be back. Thankyou so much Daniel
Great stay for our weekend in London. Clean, spacious room. Plenty of towels and nice toiletries. Complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch! Hairdryers could really do with an upgrade! Handy for the tube and train stations! We will be back for sure!
This was 2 minutes walk from Victoria Station which was an excellent start. As soon as we went in the concierge welcomed us and took us to the check in desk. This was swift and there were plenty of lifts to the rooms. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Buttons controlled everything so you could adjust the temperature, lighting etc very easily. The shower was great and there were nice toiletries and big towels. A hairdryer, iron and board, kettle, tea and coffee sachets, a desk with notepaper and a pen and a large TV all made for convenience. I would have liked a couple of pictures to make it a bit prettier but I guess it was a hotel for business travellers. Breakfast offered a wonderful choice and we were able to pay for a guest to join us. We really liked it and would definitely stay again if in London.
Our go to London hotel. It’s ranking does not do it justice. I lived in london for 60 years before moving to Brighton, now we travel up to london twice or more a month and needed a home from home, tried many across the price spectrum and 10 plus years ago this came out best value for money, in the four star area, and overdelivers, often underpriced, therefore exceptional value, punching way above other Park Plazas. It’s secret, three exceptional run departments led by people who actually care. Namely, Concierge, Front Desk. And food and beverages. Housekeeping is good and improving all the time. Showcasing staff commitment is ULA at breakfast. You know when this star is on duty as the restaurant shines the minute you walk in. It is spotless, all tables not occupied are cleared, even those with people at have little uncleared plates etc. Tables polished to a shine. ULA has done her magic. Not tall in fact petit, this scurrying soul, looks up smiles and rushes off, whoop someone has pushed a plate of half eaten food to the side of their table. She needs to be cloned, I’d buy five. Nothing too much trouble to do, get or do. An electric beacon of smiling efficiency with modesty and demeanour for all to love. Thank you ULA for starting our days off exceptionally well. We love you.
