I had a spur of the moment decision to stay overnight rather than making a long drive on a Sunday morning. I had a look on Booking and got a really good deal at the Park Inn at Walsall. I paid for the room in advance and on the day I drove up the M1 and M6. The hotel is not far from Junction 9 just north of where the M5 meets the M6 so there is normally a bit of congestion here. On leaving the motorway it is only a short distance to the hotel. It is right next to the Banks's Stadium where Walsall Football Club play and it is opposit Bescot Railway station where there are regular trains running to Birmingham New Street. On arrival at the hotel I checked in and had to give them my car registration details as they log which cars are parking in the car park. I was given the option to have breakfast the next morning. It would cost £10 if I paid when I checked in however if I chose to have the breakfast the following morning it would cost £12. In the end I decided against breakfast and went elsewhere. My room was on the second floor and a short distance down the corridor. Although there was alot of noise coming from other rooms when I got into my room it was very peaceful and quiet. My room had a double bed with very comfy pillows. There were tea and coffee available and a TV with a variety of channels. One of the previous guests had left their netflix account logged in so I could take advantage of that if I wanted to. I had a nice evening taking in the sights of the area and a nice meal and returned to the hotel to sleep. I had a good rest and slept really well. I woke the next morning and used the shower which was invigorating and energised me ready for what I needed to do. I was very pleased with my room for what I paid for it and the staff were all really polite and professional and I could not fault them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The staff are amazing never been anywhere better Claire and Lorraine and geo, are amazing such a good team just home from home . Rooms are tidy and presentable, food is good nice selection and have nice selection of snacks, would recommend staying here to anyone .

Location was perfect as it was walking distance to where I needed to go. The rooms are all presentable and clean. The service provided by Claire, Lorraine and Geo is second to none.

Nice room and good food. What made the stay 5 stars was the great staff! Lorraine and claire were friendly and lovely, making staying here so much better!

Great hosts. Good selection of food. Room clean and tidy. Definitely recommend for short or longer stays.
