We stayed in this hotel for 8 days over a three week period and found it to be excellent, there were four restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast was a continental buffet. We were supplied with fresh fruit and yoghurt each day. I have to say that there are two hotels with the same name and we stayed in the A building, if you are in the B building thay do not have the same level of service.
Good, clean spacious hotel.Bathroom spotless, large bedroom .Breakfast was first class .With a view over the city since the restaurant is on the top floor .Everything you could wish for all beautifully cooked and presented .Very relaxing to just sit with a coffee and what ever and soak up the view .Not far from the airport for our flight home .Would highly recommend
We stayed two nights at this hotel as part of a tour group. The bedroom was well equipped, coffee sachets (first in three weeks). Double sized shower (without leaks). Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of food. Staff were pleasant and efficient. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was excellent. The staff on the front desk spoke limited English and were very helpful. Chinese visitors to our country would be fortunate to have Chinese speaking staff! The area is busy (as are all Chinese cities). This wasn't a problem, all part of the experience. All in all the best hotel we stayed at during three weeks in China. Very comfortable hotel. Easily a four star in UK.
This hotel is situated in a busy shopping area with some good eating options within easy walking distance. The hotel is clean and well appionted, the bedroom was serviced daily to a good standard. Breakfast was good with both asian and western chioces catered for and some choices cooked fresh. Overall a good hotel and recommended couples or families.
This hotel is an upscale hotel with multiple restaurants close by as well as shopping areas. I stayed here twice during this trip the first time upon arrival in Kunming and the second time after going to the Stone Forest, Yuanyang and Jianshui as part of my tour. The hotel staff were quite pleasant and helpful. The hotel's restaurant was expensive so I ate at another smaller place nearby called Disco's Chicken, comparable to KFC. The hotel lobby and shops are impressive the room was very nice comfortable and quiet as well. The bell staff is also quite helpful, while in Jianshui I bought two large silk Chinese lanterns for my grandchildren that were cumbersome to travel with. The assistant manager, she had the bell staff wrap them better and box them for easier handling and to carry on flights through the remainder of the trip. Getting laundry done was also a necessity on the return back to Kunming from the Stone Forest, Yuanyang and Jianshui all one night stays as was both stays at the Jinjiang hotel in Kunming; a bellboy advised my tour guide with directions to a local laundry that could do express laundry closeby. A real saver from hauling around dirty laundry for the next three days. The breakfast buffet is located on the 23rd floor in the revolving restaurant and is excellent it has both Asian and Western type food selections. I would most strongly recommend this hotel for a visit to Kunming.
