This time, during my short return to China from studying abroad, I had an excellent stay at the New Jinjiang Hotel. Front Desk: The check-in process was seamless, allowing me to quickly get to my room without any delays. All of the staff are Shanghainese locals. They were extremely polite and professional, greeting guests from all over the world with a smile. Their friendly attitude and willingness to help made the check-in experience very pleasant and warm. Guest Room: I stayed on the 32nd floor. The room was very spacious and clean, reflecting the hotel's high standards and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I was too busy enjoying the room before I could take some pictures in its best condition. There was a living room separated by a door from the main bedroom. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring that everything was in perfect order. I especially appreciated their respect for personal privacy and personalized cleaning service, which made my stay more thoughtful. The housekeeping staff were always courteous, ensuring that I felt comfortable and at home. Breakfast Restaurant: The breakfast offerings were abundant and diverse, combining various classic breakfasts from the East and West. For those who enjoy Western breakfasts, there were omelets available. As a student studying abroad, I couldn’t really handle Western breakfasts anymore, so I had small wontons, soup noodles, soy milk, and plain congee on three different mornings. My taste preference is light, and sometimes I find hotel dishes too greasy and salty, but Semillon (New Jinjiang's breakfast restaurant) caters to different tastes and preferences. You could add your own ingredients as you like. The ingredients used were fresh and of high quality, making every meal delightful. From freshly baked pastries to various hot dishes, there was something for everyone. The dining area was clean and bright, providing a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. Location: The hotel's location is excellent, near Huaihai Middle Road, a prime area in Shanghai. Just the trendy restaurants at the hotel entrance would be enough to keep me satisfied for a week. It’s near Metro Lines 13, 1, and 10, making it convenient to access various attractions and facilities. The transportation options were very convenient, allowing you to easily explore the city. Whether for business trips or leisure travel, the hotel's central location was an ideal starting point. 40th Floor Villa Executive Lounge: The executive lounge on the 40th floor was a highlight of my stay. It offered a panoramic view of the city, which was truly breathtaking. The dishes served in the executive lounge were exquisite, reflecting a high standard of culinary excellence. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it an ideal place to escape from the daily hustle and bustle. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful moment. All of this for SUCH a REASONABLE price. This trip was perfect.

I've been a few times to this hotel. It's great for the value, the buffet is nice, rooms are good, the pool and the gym are also great! The location is nice if you want to be somehow in the center of Shanghai very near to Found 158 area, so will be a good choice if you plan to party around that haha. At the top of the hotel, there's a 360 restaurant for drinks, food, or afternoon tea! Nice way to finish your trip there.

Like I always do I did my homework studying hotels. This was my second business trip to Shanghai. I decided to switch to another location and the Jin Jiang hotel was a great choice. Really, everything worked out perfect! The location is unbeatable for business trip and even for tourism. You can tell that there was a time that this most have been "THE HOTEL" in the city, now with the new finnancial district in bloom the other locations might not be as attractive. But believe me you have many walking distance alternatives.

Really comfy bed and great view. Fantastic choice for breakfast. Great location and right outside metro ( exit 3) so easy to get around Shanghai. Lots of bars and restaurants just passed the overpass flyover. Would recommend.

This little gem of a hotel is not on the busy business district but short taxi drives will take you up downtown. The hotel itself is beautiful, the service is good and the room big and comfortable including the Japanese style electronic loo! It has a great jade shop, exchange bureau and a fitness centre. Great to touch base and explore the city.
