I suggest really to test the chinese restaurant inside the hotel.(Hugues W)
In the elevator you can get a picture, as you have a view outside.(Hugues W)
It may be quieter to take room facing the back of the building.(Newwit)

This Hotel is Perfect. The Area is full of choices to eat and to do Shopping. Also the subway stops there (line 1 & 9) so that is great to move around Shanghai. The breakfast is Excelent. Very Good choice

Rooms are great with good service. Amenities are good and the included breakfasts are good. It's quite close to Xujiahui Station and all tourist spots are about 20 to 30 mins away by train. There are quite a few local malls and many places to sample to local food. I would stay there again during my next visit.

Have just spent 10 days at this hotel whilst attending an event and I could not have been happier with it. Having read some of the negative reviews I was a little worried, but I could not fault anything about the hotel, staff or my room and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in staying in this area. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area again.

The staff are friendly, the breakfast spread is good, and the best thing of all is that there isn't lots of people smoking in the lobby, foyer or restaurant which is quite difficult to enforce in China given the huge smokers ratio. Very close to the XuJiaHui subway station which is itself a hub of three subway lines. You will be able to reach the Bund within 20 minutes on the subway or Pudong CBD in under 25 minutes. Food places close by and the famous shopping malls at XuJiaHui and the clubbing scene.

I am very pleased with this hotel. Excellent service and clean and nice rooms (a bit small). The neighborhood is great and and transportation is very useful. Lots of taxis and the hotel is above a vast underground station. The breakfast is very good as well. I am sure to stay again in this hotel.
