Sassy ,Arty, comfortable and great service .
just back from a lovely two night stay our first time at battersea but loved the area ,our room was plenty big enough with great views we also liked the rooftop though not really warm enough just yet ! and i must say breakfast was as good as any we have had in london all the staff were very friendly as well a credit to the hotel a big warm welcome from michael on the front door which is so important as its first impressions and often the first person you meet at any hotel big hearty welcome and it sets the tone for a great stay would we come again we would indeed without hesitation.
This hotel surpassed all expectations. The location, facilities, services and staff were exceptional. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and all of the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Amazing views and the food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Close to Battersea Power Station Shopping Centre, which is an experience on its own! Would heartily recommend.
If you have a family this place is great! Check-in was smooth. For lunch, we were greeted by Pedro in the Tozi Restaurant who made us feel soo welcome - my child even asked for him on his days off! There’s a blonde woman that works there too that is super accommodating and polite. Foods great there, for breakfast (my child says it’s the best croissants he’s ever had) and dinner. Location is absolutely amazing - you don’t need to leave the area much, especially if you’re there over a child’s break as the power station put on so much activities! The room is spacious enough and my child loved playing his own game of getting ‘points’ for every train he seen go by, and also loved seeing the dogs come out from the Battersea Cats and Dogs home in the morning! This is also the first hotel that I’ve noticed where someone comes round and checks the room has been cleaned and that we’re happy with it. Great service. The staff are all genuinely really friendly and I wish I remembered all their names! Only negative I can think of is the sofa bed can be noisy and dip in the middle!
The location is lovely and it is so easy to get to for the Battersea power station, literally you walk out the front of the hotel and your there, which is what we wanted and only a 5 minute walk to the underground. When we wanted to get to Leicester Square there wasn’t a direct tube, but that wasn’t a problem, we took a 10-12 min walk to the train station and it’s a 4 minute train journey to Victoria station. The rooms was lovely for our family, the only downside to one of the rooms was that sometimes there was a whiff from the bathroom a bit like stagnant river water, but as we were not spending a lot of time in the room it was bearable and I only mentioned it as leaving only because that morning it seemed a bit more noticeable. The staff are lovely and polite, Barvie went above and beyond to help us celebrate my sons 18th birthday, she is truly amazing member of staff and the hotel is lucky to have such a wonderful member of staff, as I say all the staff are lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy, and if you ever ran out of teas/coffee, the reception staff were happy to sort it out for you. Our rooms were on the side of the train tracks and the Battersea cats and dog home, we didn’t really hear the trains or planes flying over as the hotel seems to be on flight path to Heathrow, we enjoyed watching everything that was going on outside and watching some of the dogs go for their walks and playing in their segment of garden space. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend the hotel.
