We have stayed at this hotel several times, and on each visit we find ourselves pleasantly reminded of just how good the Radisson Blu Royal Viking truly is. During our most recent stay, we spent four nights here over Easter 2026. As members of the Radisson loyalty program, we received a complimentary room upgrade in line with our membership tier, and were delighted with the room we were given (#490). It was beautifully clean and spacious — a genuinely enjoyable place to unwind. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the housekeeping team, whose work was consistently excellent throughout our 4-night stay. The hotel’s breakfast continues to impress with its generous variety and high quality. We enjoyed it immensely each morning. The breakfast staff deserve special recognition as well: they were always friendly, attentive, and remarkably hardworking. Their dedication to ensuring that every guest enjoys a smooth and pleasant start to the day truly stood out. We were unable to enjoy breakfast on the morning of our departure, as we needed to catch the airport train at 05:35. Fortunately, the Arlanda Express platform is only a three-minute walk from the hotel lobby, making the location of the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel exceptionally convenient for travelers exploring central Stockholm. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality once again — we look forward to returning to the Royal Viking as soon as possible!

Had a lovely time at the blu Viking, the staff were fantastic and the hotel was great. It was an absolutely fantastic location , central to everything we wanted to do and the breakfast was lovely. I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved our stay here! It was so close to the train station (like right next door) and that was very helpful for us since we arrived and departed by train. During check in, we were given local recommendations on things to do during our very short stay (24 hours). We weren't able to check everything out, but we did visit a handful of the recs we received. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. We checked out and were able to leave our luggage with the concierge while we went and explored before our train, which was very appreciated. We wish we had more than 24 hours in Stockholm!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel, and would happily return. The location is outstanding — it genuinely could not be more convenient if you’re arriving from or departing to the airport. The Arlanda Express is literally a few metres away, making arrival effortless, and the hotel sits right in the heart of the city, with Stockholm’s sights, shops, and waterfront all within easy walking distance. Breakfast deserves special mention. The selection was generous, wide-ranging, and exceptionally well presented — one of those breakfasts that genuinely sets you up for the day. It’s hard to imagine finding better, even in much larger or more expensive hotels. The hotel itself was clean, well run, and welcoming, and the reception staff were consistently kind, efficient, and helpful — exactly what you hope for after travelling. If one were searching hard for a criticism, it would be that the room size and wardrobe space are a little limited, with only a small hanging area parallel to the room, which may feel tight if staying longer or travelling with more formal clothing. That said, this is a minor point and did not detract from the overall experience. All in all, an excellent city hotel in a superb location, with a truly memorable breakfast and friendly service. Highly recommended.
