Superb location right next to the Central station . The airport Arlansa express is almost like a direct covered acccess. Great breakfast layout and friendly and pleasant staff . The restaurant manager was quick to accommodate some of us who were vegetarians in the group . Gamla stan is a 15 minute walk while a nice walking and shopping district about ten minutes . Nice modern hotel .

We only stayed the night, ideally situated just outside Central Station and close to food outlets. Room was on 2nd floor and looked over the main street, great for people watching, it was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were helpful, we used conceirge for keeping our bags till check in and the day we left, very handy Complimentary coffee, water in reception handy before you check in

I stayed at this hotel over a weekend, arriving Saturday and leaving Monday. It's an excellent hotel, with good rooms, excellent service and a tasty, varied breakfast. It's a bit cheaper than the Radisson Blu Waterfront hotel, presumably because it's older and doesn't have the views. But its location is still excellent, with superb access to the railway station (and so to the airport) and good access to the Metro, buses and trams. I'd happily stay again if I'm in Stockholm.

I had a wonderful experience at Radisson Blu Royal Viking Stockholm. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to public transport, restaurants, shops, and many of the main attractions in central Stockholm. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and everything about the stay felt smooth and comfortable. The room was clean, pleasant, and well maintained. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stockholm. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, and on each visit we find ourselves pleasantly reminded of just how good the Radisson Blu Royal Viking truly is. During our most recent stay, we spent four nights here over Easter 2026. As members of the Radisson loyalty program, we received a complimentary room upgrade in line with our membership tier, and were delighted with the room we were given (#490). It was beautifully clean and spacious — a genuinely enjoyable place to unwind. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the housekeeping team, whose work was consistently excellent throughout our 4-night stay. The hotel’s breakfast continues to impress with its generous variety and high quality. We enjoyed it immensely each morning. The breakfast staff deserve special recognition as well: they were always friendly, attentive, and remarkably hardworking. Their dedication to ensuring that every guest enjoys a smooth and pleasant start to the day truly stood out. We were unable to enjoy breakfast on the morning of our departure, as we needed to catch the airport train at 05:35. Fortunately, the Arlanda Express platform is only a three-minute walk from the hotel lobby, making the location of the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel exceptionally convenient for travelers exploring central Stockholm. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality once again — we look forward to returning to the Royal Viking as soon as possible!
