I've enjoyed staying at Radisson Blu Copenhagen a couple of times this winter 22/23 and loved the hospitality even mid refit. From bumping into the regional director, who was kind and helpful to me on the Metro, to the happiest, most hospitable, and breakfast mocktails savvy breakfast staff who recognised me from last time and greeted me with a hug.
The breakfasts, bread, meats, cheeses, juices, and choices from 6.30am at this Radisson Blu hotel in Copenhagen are a perfect setup to the day and just 10mins walk across the waters to where I had to work.
Convenience continues with early check-ins to Radisson members enabling work Zooms on arrival, disability comfort of a rare bath tub in hotels these days favouring showers only, and more rooms with Nespresso machines over instant coffee.
Good coffee and great fresh bread are basics that feel like luxury. They're the smells supermarkets use to seduce our senses as we shop, so hotels should do more of this too.
Comfortable rooms, quiet, uncramped, safe, fridge, castable TV, and more Nespresso machines coming!
Minutes from nearest Metro, which has lift access to and from street. Hotel itself is also accessible and plenty of taxis outside always.
With an Italian and Thai restaurant in house, as well as a bar, accessible facilities, and friendly reception staff, it all made for a great experience.
