78 Derngate is the only house in England designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and is hailed as a multi-award-winning attraction. A trip here offers an unforgettable day out in Northampton, England. The house is a typical early nineteenth century brick terrace, built between 1815-1820, and consisting of a basement, kitchen, offices that open directly into the garden area, two ground floor rooms, two floors with two bedrooms each, and an attic room with a dormer window (which was a structural add-on). About the design
