The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is home to several international orchestras, soloists and conductors, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Cecilia Bartoli, Julian Lloyd Webber and Maxim Vengerov.

The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is not simply just a beautiful art house designed with the express purpose of delivering the highest quality of musical sound possible. Visitors will have a range of spaces within the hall to explore and make use of including, the 400-person capacity Strathclyde Suite, the 300-person capacity exhibition hall, the 300-person capacity Lomond and Clyde foyers, the 100-person capacity Strathclyde Bar, the 150-person capacity City of Music Studio, the 40-person capacity VIP Room and the 120-person capacity Buchanan Suite. The Royal Scottish National Orchestra Centre also houses a dedicated education space, the Robertson Learning and Engagement Center. The hall also exhibits art and photographic exhibitions, and is a popular place for hosting graduation ceremonies for Glasgow Caledonian University students.
