Bukovel Ski Resort is situated near the foot of the Bukovel Mountains in the village of Polyanytsya, Yaremche district. It is located 35 kilometers from Yaremche and 100 kilometers from Ivano-Frankivsk. The resort is 900 meters above sea level and the highest peak, Mount Dovga, is 1,372 meters above sea level. The area's mountains safeguard the village from severe winter winds, creating comfortable weather conditions for winter holidays.
The area has 50 kilometers of pistes. All the trails are equipped with snow-making machines and are protected from the direct sunlight. Three of the ski trails are equipped with lights to allow for night skiing. During the winter season there are 16 modern ski lifts working to transport eager skiers to the top of the slopes. Within the next 10-15 years, Bukovel Ski Resort will construct 21 modern ski lifts and add 116 kilometers of ski trails, plus snow-making machines.
Currently, the resort offers restaurants, cafes, rent stations, entertaining centers, covered parking, shops, and other facilities. During the summer, Bukovel is a popular retreat for those looking to explore the area's natural beauty. The mountain's scenic hills feature 2 new hiking trails that stretch across 5 kilometers. You can also explore the trails by quad-bikes or bicycles. After hiking through the mountains, visit one of the area's several natural springs filled with mineral water for a healthy dose of relaxation.
