Middelburg is situated in northern Mpumalanga, South Africa. Known for being a hub for steel production, it also offers a variety of outdoor activities and cultural hot spots. 

Visit the nearby Loskop Dam Nature Reserve, just 55 kilometers north of the city. This nature reserve is home to different local fauna including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and white rhinos. You can also adventure around the area with different hiking trails or 4x4 excursions.
