Facts about the local team
The football team plays in Saudi First Division and it was founded in 1980. In 2007 they qualified for the Saudi Premier League and are still playing in it to this day.
In 2009 they reached the final of the Saudi Crown Prince Cup, after beating great teams like Al-Ittihad. It was during this cup that the team showed a remarkable display. The home colors of the team area yellow and green, while the away colors are white and green.
The team members are mostly from Saudi Arabia, although they have three players from Brazil, two from Tunisia, two from Nigeria, one from Jordan and one from Ivory Coast.
