Stretching from the walls of the Kremlin fortress to the National Cultural Center, the embankment is divided into two zones: pedestrian and entertainment.
Stroll along the embankment and admire stunning views over the Kazanka river. In the evening, it is the perfect spot for enjoying the sunset over the Kremlin the Kazan Wedding Hall and the Farmers Palace. On the other side, Kazan Arena and Kazan Family center also serve as an excellent background.
Beautiful in every season
This new attraction in town is always buzzing as events are held there all year round. In summer, the smooth pavement of the embankment makes it ideal for skaters and bikers. In winter, the park becomes a fairy tale town where one can bump into elves and Santa himself (Ded Moroz in Russian). Besides, the bicycles lanes are turned into the longest ice rink in Europe (almost 1km-long!).
If you work up an appetite, there are plenty of restaurants and cafés available at the beginning of the walk (Kremlin side): Love Story, La Famiglia, Mio, Chirem, Pirs and Bachka.
