Trysilfjellet Golf

Nestled in the hills of Trysil, Norway, discover the country's most charming forest and mountain course, featuring an exciting, world-class course design and appropriately challenging front and back nine. Designed by course architect Jeremy Turner, Trysilfjellet Golf Course is a course that presents varying, tree-lined fairways ideal for golfers of any level to stare down and impressive, complex greens to master.

Trysilfjellet Golf offers two wonderful courses – a complete par-72 18-hole course (golf cart required), as well as a pay-and-play par-3 course. The course at Trysil Golf Club opened in 2003 and features a mountainous/forest backdrop and layout. Good thing for the lesser experienced golfers is that the course is not too hilly. In fact, the course is more considered to be a casual walk type of outing, with a few ups and downs to keep things interesting. The overall course consists of two loops, with the front nine holes being the longer of the two loops and the back nine being shorter and tighter. In addition to the two distinctive course offerings, Trysil offers excellent practice facilities to golfers, including an expansive driving range complete with 33 mats, 10 of which provide protective covering for less than perfect weather conditions. The golf facilities also have putting greens, chipping greens and two practice bunkers available to work on your all-important short game. Our pro shop sells several leading brands of golfing equipment and accessories. And when it's time to fill your hunger needs, Trysilfjellet has a welcoming café, stocked with a variety of snack offerings to fulfill your needs. The golf season runs approximately from mid-May through mid-October. Between the two courses, the short-hole course is generally recommended for beginners.
