If you want a balcony with the sun, do not choose the marina wing but go for the main hotel. If you simply want a view of the sea, then the marina wing is fine.(David T)
Breakfast starts at 7 and is very quiet, but gets super busy from 9. Sunbeds around the pool go early so be there before 8.30(Brian L)
Get up early get a spot at the beach/pool - just don’t be a towel hogger.

"Peaceful Hotel"

Arriving at Park Plaza Histria I felt a little disappointed, as this hotel was on a complex rather that in a resort, I had booked last minute and not done my usual meticulous research because I would not normally have booked a hotel on a big complex. However the disappointment soon vanished as this is a wonderful hotel and a really lovely complex. Although there are 3 other hotels on the complex and lots of rental apartments, the whole complex is one of peace and tranquility. The site is lovely to walk around any time day or night, everywhere is maintained. The bus to Pula stops just outside the complex. Back to the hotel, the staff were all friendly. the rooms were spacious and clean. The food was lovely. Swimming pool was nice, area clean and peaceful, plenty of sunbeds so no need for people to put their towels on beds at stupid o'clock to reserve them. This hotel also has an indoor pool, fortunately weather was good so did not use this. Would 100% recommend this hotel as for me there were no negatives. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work.

"Modern and comfortable hotel."

We had a lovely holiday based in this modern comfortable hotel. View of the sea from the pool area and we spotted dolphins from there every evening. They also have a very large indoor pool for a proper swim. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and a nice balcony over looking the bay. There is a bus stop close by to visit historic Pula, we had gladiators parading the streets one evening before they ended in the colosseum. We will definitely visit again!

"Park Plaza Histria Pula - Well worth a visit"

Great room with a sea view, spacious with all the facilities we needed. Large bathroom and great shower facilities. Staff were all very pleasant, extremely helpful and attentive. Food was excellent quality and plenty of it including a good gluten free selection of products. Right on the sea front with some wonderful beaches close by. Decent swimming pool. At this time of year it was not that busy that you could not get a sun lounger. Only a short bus ride from Pula airport and the bus drops you right outside the hotel. Hotel was a 5 - 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Only 2 euros each way to get into Pula. Plenty to see and do in the town. One particular spot not to miss is the Arena. You can take photos from the outside but worth the 10 euros to walk around and explore, including the area cut out underneath the central arena.

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff and lots of things to do for all ages"

We booked this hotel through Jet2 as a last-minute getaway for some R&R and good weather. The reception staff were very welcoming and had us checked in quickly. Our room was in the marina wing with a room and balcony overlooking the marina. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed to make the stay very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the place very quiet during the night making for a good night's rest. The breakfast was extremely good with a range of hot and cold dishes extremely tasty. The hotel pool was very clean, and the atmosphere around the whole complex was friendly. Apparently, we arrived one week after the main season ended, so I suspect (and confirmed by the staff) in July and August that it will be much busier. The public transport links from the hotel to Pula town centre are really good with a 10 minute level walk from the hotel. It took about 15 minutes on the bus. If you use public transport a lot there was a range of fares from single journeys to day, week etc tickets which were very reasonable. Would definitely return.
"Stunning views, frindly staff, lovely hotel"

Such a lovely hotel with wonderfully welcoming staff. Everyone from the reception, cleaners, waiters and var staff are so friendly and kind. Our room on the first floor had a gorgeous seaview and the hotel is ideally situated for stunning views. There were plenty of sunbeds, the pool was a little cold though, I preferred the huge indoor pool. The welbeing staff were wonderful and U had the best massage. I loved the chilled vibe of the steam n sauna. Alex who runs The Taverna bar is fab and makes the most wonderful cocktails. Well recomended!
