A great hotel situated in a resort area, next door to another Park Plaza and other hotels in the vicinity. Lots of outdoor amenities, including sports facilities, restaurants, pools, an aquarium and access to beaches and a marina make this hotel very convenient for most travelling types, be they families, couples or solos. Was quite warm in September (for those of us from cooler climes), but a lovely sea breeze made it very bearable.
We found the front desk staff to be very helpful (I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the young woman who checked us in on 3 Sep 23 because she was extremely welcoming and so helpful).
Pretty much a self-contained resort area, it still just a 10-minute drive to the city and the Pula Amphitheatre. There are good transport options, with buses, taxis and Uber available.
Our room (340) had a great balcony area and view, and the Superior Sea View Room was very good overall with the only complaints being poor air conditioning (which made it hot at night) and inconsistent water temperatures in the shower. The breakfast was excellent: so glad I included breakfast in the cost of stay (totalled 462 EUR for two nights).
Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to kick back and relax in the Istrian Peninsula of northern Croatia.
