Fantastic venue in a lovely location. A short ride away from Pula Town, this is the perfect location to relax with all the amenities you’ll need. The place is clean and comfortable, and the food and drink caters for all tastes.

"First time but won’t be the last"

Lovely resort. Very big and you could easily spend your whole holiday not leaving it. There is 2 pools over looking the sea with a large bar next to it. Several other places to eat on sight. There is an aquarium on the resort too which is well worth the small entry fee. Water sports available at an extra cost too - unfortunately the sea conditions wouldn’t allow us too experience these this time. Uber is widely available and much cheaper than the taxi’s. Be aware the airport taxis aren’t regulated and we ended up getting ripped off when we arrived, paid 3 times the fee that an uber charged to get back. Taxi charged £60 - uber £18. Lesson learnt! Paid to eat at the buffet / all inclusive one night - not worth the money. Much nicer places to eat on sight. I recommend getting uber into the Old city (as they called it) only cost £8 by uber and is very beautiful with loads of shops an places to eat too.

"Great resort"

We stayed in the Park Plaza Verudela apartments in August 2025 and we had a lovely holiday and would definitely go back. The apartments worked well for us although the sofa bed in the lounge is a little hard and uncomfortable (according to my daughter). If we had any issues in our apartment we rang reception from the room and housekeeping sorted it out. Most of the staff were pleasant in the hotel and happy to help. Some could do with some lessons in customer service but that wasn’t just in the hotel so maybe it’s a culture thing rather than the minority at the hotel. The pool was superb with views out to sea so you could watch the boats coming and going. It’s a very decent size too with lots going on. It was great that the gates to the pool opened at 9am so you didn’t have the sunbed wars that you get in other hotels but to get one with a good view of the sea or if you needed 4 or 5 together, you would need to queue from about 8/8.30am but no getting up at ridiculous times to put towels on from hotel guests thankfully! There is a great female pool attendant who monitored if people put towels on beds and left for hours and she had no issue removing them so other people could use them, which was heartening. The sea is a few minutes walk from the hotel with crystal clear waters and lots of activities: pedal boats, kayaks, aqua park / inflatable. It is a pebble beach although you can hire mattress type sunbeds for the day but they seemed to go quickly. You can also buy small mattresses from the beach shops in resort. The only downsides to the beach were that it gets very busy so if you go in an afternoon it’s tricky to find somewhere to place your towels (people literally lie anywhere and everywhere!) but also they get this strange plankton that comes into shore (looks a bit like jellyfish but isn’t and doesn’t hurt you) and it feels horrible touching your skin (IMO) when swimming (although it didn’t deter some people and even kids were throwing it at each other!). There are a few restaurants on the resort which were fairly good. Yacht restaurant has beautiful views but is very expensive. Olivia which is by the pool also has great views but is more reasonable and does good pizzas, which you can takeaway. There are about 3 beach type of shops where you can buy inflatables and beach shoes which didn’t seem overly expensive. The supermarket onsite is fairly expensive but very convenient, which also sells fresh bread etc. Make sure you take enough sunscreen to last the holiday otherwise it will cost you at least 25 euros to buy one - extortionate! There is very little going on in an evening and most restaurants/bars are closed by 10, which wasn’t a problem for us. There is a bar a short walk from the hotel which is open til late called E&D (I think) so you can have more drinks if you wish. Pula town is easy to get to on the bus. The old town is definitely worth a visit and has loads of restaurants to choose from. I would say it’s nicer to visit at night when it’s lit up. The amphitheatre is also well worth a photo. We had a great holiday.

"Lovely location"

We really enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza. All the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We were lucky that arriving on an early flight out room was available straight away but they did say that they are not always ready until 4pm. The sofa bed is uncomfortable so we added extra padding, the kitchenette is quite small ( two annoying electric rings, a microwave and a kettle - no toaster or peeler) but the fridge is large and effective with a good freezer box. The shop is very handy if a bit expensive (bring your own suncream if you don't want to pay £30 for one). The layout with one bedroom (two beds made up as one), a kitchenette with a good sized table and room to walk around easily, and an area around the corner with a second wardrobe and TV was adequate for 4, but it would have been better if the sofa bed area was screened off from the kitchen a little. Our kitchen was quite dark but there are lots of lights and sockets in each room. The shower room is small but hot water is plentiful. The resort is lovely with lots to do at the beach. We hired a boat in the nearby harbour from Gurges and hired a car from Ventura who were based in the corner office opposite the shop (the 2nd office along has their name in it so that confused me). The walk down to the beach has a few steps and the beaches are pebbles which is good for snorkeling.

"Fantastic hotel for friends"

Reception staff were extremely friendly and were able to give great restaurant recommendations in Pula. We had a self catering villa and the steps to the top bedroom were very narrow and extremely steep, we managed it ok but if someone was unsteady on their feet it may have been a problem. The restaurant and bar the poolside delivered great service and the food was incredible. The only unfortunate issue we ran into was a severe lack of space and sunbeds around the pool, there was a need to queue from 8.15/8.30 in morning to ensure we got 6 beds together when it opened at 9am. On our first day we arrived around 11am and had to share beds between 6 of us even though some beds lay unused other than a parking space for towels all afternoon. Staff did try to ensure this didn’t happen but weren’t very successful. Had we been a smaller group we may not have had a problem. Fantastic hotel and we’ll definitely be back!
