It lacks decent play area for kids and is more business oriented. It has pretty small business lounge area in the lobby if you need to work.(Erko N)

Book a premium room with old town view and organize your transport to and from airport with taxis. It is only 13€ one way compared to 45€ for their shuttle service (Bontzo)

"Loved the Radisson Collection Hotel in Tallinn"
tripadvisor rating

2025-10-15

This hotel exceeded all expectations. Unlike other 5 star hotels in Tallinn, this one is a short distance outside the Old City. It was significantly cheaper, but had everything. The breakfast buffet was very large and comprehensive with complementary a-la-carte items, such as fried eggs and bacon. Great service in the breakfast room as well. The rooms were typical upscale decor. The spa, including massage, was extraordinary. A 19 Meter pool, a 40 degree hot tub and 4 different saunas, wet and dry and different temperatures. Finally, a very good Japanese restaurant and bar on the roof with outdoor seating when warmer. All in all a perfect place to stay.

"Most Luxurious Radisson Hotel in Tallinn"

This is the written version of a video review made for the Honest Helsinki Hotel Reviews TikTok and Youtube channel. Lobby/Reception area The Radisson Collection Hotel has often been described as one of the true highlights of Tallinn’s hotel scene — a five-star luxury property that only a few can compete with. This shouldn’t be just another place to sleep, but an oasis, an experience that lingers long after checkout. Stepping inside, we were immediately greeted by striking ceiling lights — chandeliers that resembled delicate flower petals — and grand white pillars reminiscent of classical Roman architecture. Blended with modern design elements, the space exuded a luxurious atmosphere, creating the impression that we had arrived at an upper-class hotel. It felt like a preview of the elegance to come. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and in no time, we were on our way to our room. Junior suite - 722 - Since it was my birthday, I requested a room with a sauna. The lowest category offering one was the Junior Suite, and thanks to my VIP status combined with the birthday celebration, the hotel kindly upgraded us. The suite was beautiful, modern, and immaculately clean. The luxury here leaned more towards contemporary design than traditional — instead of chandeliers and classical décor, the room featured darker tones, mood lighting, and sleek finishes, giving it a stylish, modern personality. At the same time, certain touches — like a marble-topped table — added a sense of timeless luxury. The suite came with two large TVs (one in the bedroom, one in the living area), both with streaming capabilities and all the latest bells and whistles. From the windows, our view was partly blocked by some less impressive buildings, but we could still spot Tallinn’s Old Town and its churches in the distance. A unique feature of this Junior Suite was the in-room fitness equipment: light kettlebells, resistance bands, a rope pulley machine, and a stationary bike. For fitness enthusiasts, this was a thoughtful addition.  Some Junior Suites are equipped with a treadmill instead of the bike, so guests who prefer one over the other should make a request in advance. Of course, for more serious workouts, the hotel’s well-equipped gym is the better choice. Initially, I wondered if the fitness gear would spoil the room’s aesthetic, but in fact, it added character and charm. Other amenities included a capsule coffee machine, bathrobes, slippers, and a fully stocked minibar. The king-size bed was cozy, with LED lighting underneath — bright enough to help you navigate at night, but soft enough not to disturb your sleep. Shortly after arriving, we received a knock at the door. A staff member delivered a thoughtful birthday surprise: a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, a plate of sweets, and a handwritten birthday card. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel truly valued as guests. The bathroom was one of the largest I’ve seen in this category. White marble tiles gave it a refined, elegant look. It featured both a rain shower and a bathtub, as well as a spacious sauna that could easily fit a family of four. Radisson Collection toiletries were provided — though in truth, the shampoo and body wash seemed the same as Radisson Blu, just presented in different bottles. There were even a couple of chairs, perfect for cooling down with a drink after enjoying the sauna. Overall, it was an exceptionally designed room, perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings or sightseeing. Rooftop Bar - 24th Floor - We also visited ISSEI, the hotel’s rooftop bar, for a few evening drinks while taking in the views of Tallinn from above. We both ordered non-alcoholic options, and thanks to our VIP status, we received a 15% discount. The bar was crowded and lively, which only highlighted its popularity — not just among hotel guests but also with locals. People were in good spirits, chatting and enjoying their drinks with friends and colleagues. The views were spectacular. From the rooftop terrace, the Old Town felt even closer than it did from our room. At night, with the city lights twinkling in the distance, Tallinn felt like a bustling metropolis despite its relatively small size. Gym The gym was fairly spacious and impressively equipped. All the machines and weights looked new and modern, making it easy to keep up with a workout routine while traveling. I especially appreciated the inclusion of heavier dumbbells, which are often missing in many hotel gyms. There was also a modern looking water dispenser if you get thirsty while burning the fat or increasing your muscle strength. While it wasn’t the largest hotel gym I’ve seen, it had all the essentials — whether you're into cardio, strength training, or something in between. Importantly, everything felt high quality and well maintained. It stood out as one of the better standalone hotel gyms I’ve experienced. Another big bonus is that it’s open 24 hours, so whether you prefer an early morning workout or a late-night session, you can train whenever it suits you best. Breakfast Breakfast was a real highlight. Sparkling wine was served, instantly setting a luxurious tone. A small but significant touch that instantly elevates the experience. The dining room itself was bright, modern, and spacious, while the selection was both abundant and fresh. It’s not always easy to find both variety and quality at a hotel buffet, but here they went hand in hand. There were plenty of Western classics: sausages, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and more. The pastry section was equally tempting, with donuts, croissants, and a wide variety of sweet treats. Even more impressive was the à la carte menu, which went far beyond the usual made-to-order omelet. Options included chia pudding, poached egg with avocado on sourdough, pancakes with caramelized condensed milk, and berry salad, and many other creative dishes— All beautifully presented and full of flavor. In my opinion, this was the best breakfast I’ve had in Estonia, and certainly better than most I’ve experienced in neighboring country Finland. While it may not rival the extravagant “breakfast-lunch buffets” I’ve seen in Asia (such as Batam), compared to standard European hotel breakfasts, this was easily among the very best. Conclusion The Radisson Collection Hotel Tallinn truly lives up to its reputation as one of the city’s finest five-star properties. From the very first moment we stepped into the grand lobby, with its glowing chandeliers and striking Roman-inspired pillars blended seamlessly with modern design, we could sense that this was no ordinary hotel but something very special. Our Junior Suite was both stylish and welcoming, combining sleek modern décor with timeless touches. The private sauna, marble finishes, and in-room fitness equipment gave the space a unique character. The thoughtful birthday surprise — sparkling wine, plate of sweets, and a handwritten card — was a gesture that elevated our stay from memorable to truly special. Beyond the room, the hotel’s facilities continued to impress. The rooftop ISSEI bar buzzed with energy, offering panoramic views over Tallinn that were especially breathtaking at night. The gym, though not massive, was modern and well equipped, clearly designed with serious workouts in mind — something I always value in a hotel. Breakfast was a highlight in itself: not just generous in variety, but refined in quality, with sparkling wine and an excellent à la carte menu that went far beyond the usual offerings compared to many other radisson hotels. The spa, from which i was not able to take videos was beautifully designed and undeniably luxurious, it offered a serene escape with its swimming pool, calming Japanese bath, comfortable poolside beds, two saunas, and a steam room. It was the perfect balance of modern elegance and restorative relaxation, a place where time seemed to slow down. It was easy to imagine guests spending hours here, forgetting entirely that they were in the heart of Tallinn. All in all, the Radisson Collection strikes an excellent balance between contemporary luxury, comfort, and service. Whether you’re in Tallinn for business, leisure, or a special celebration, it offers far more than just a place to stay — it delivers an experience worth remembering long after checkout.

We had such a lovely 4 day stay at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Tallin earlier this month. Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel to note it was our wedding anniversary. We were offered a discounted upgrade to a Premium room with a view of the old town which we gladly accepted. The premium room is most definitely worth the upgrade and I would highly recommend it. The view was just stunning. To top it off, Jelizaveta at Reception arranged for a bottle of prosecco to be delivered to our room just after we arrived which was such a lovely surprise. The hotel is really nice and only a few minutes stroll from the old town. We particularly liked the rooftop bar for the views and chilled atmostphere. The Spa area & pool is worth a visit. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Tallinn.

This hotel is one of the top choices in Tallinn. The building is modern and fairly new. Our room had wonderful views. The restaurant/bar at the top floor is one of the best in Tallinn and the view is unbeatable. Will definitely return.
