Advent in Pula begins on November 30, 2025, and continues until January 11, 2026, bringing an expanded festive program to the city. The highlight of last year’s celebration, the iconic Arena, returns with an even richer atmosphere, alongside five additional locations filled with cultural, musical, and gastronomic experiences. Visitors can enjoy traditional Istrian dishes, modern street-food specialties, hot chocolate, and mulled wine throughout the city.
The City of Graz Park becomes the central spot for children, offering creative workshops, performances, and visits to the enchanting house of Santa and Grandma Claus. On weekends, the Pula City Market adds to the festive ambiance with live performances, while the popular Great Padela tradition invites everyone to taste complimentary seafood risotto, scrambled eggs, and game goulash. A new feature this year is the large Advent wreath encircling the Market Square fountain, where choirs will accompany the lighting of candles each Advent Sunday.
Giardini remains a cozy gathering point, while Portarata hosts an exciting music program from December 12 to January 3, featuring artists such as Vanna, Klapa Šufit, Hiljson Mandela, Psihomodo Pop, Buč Kesidi, and others. The Forum offers jazz, classical concerts, and holiday tunes, including a New Year’s celebration with Neno Belan. Portarata will welcome 2026 with performances by Gustafi and Lima Len.
This year, Advent in Pula is enriched with a new and spectacular attraction – the Pula Eye, a panoramic Ferris wheel offering one of the most beautiful winter views of the city. Rising high above the festive lights, the Pula Eye provides visitors with a unique opportunity to admire the Arena, the illuminated waterfront, and the old town from a completely new perspective. Each cabin is comfortable, sheltered from the wind, and ideal for enjoying the holiday atmosphere with family and friends.
The Pula Eye will be in operation from December 1 to January 11, and its gentle rotation makes it suitable for all ages. With its combination of festive charm and breathtaking panoramas, it is expected to become one of the most visited attractions of this year's Advent in Pula.
