⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Durban Umhlanga I arrived at the Radisson Blu Hotel Durban Umhlanga at around 20:30 on 2 October, and from the moment I walked through the doors, the experience was exceptional. The welcome at reception immediately set the tone. The three team members assisting with my check-in were incredibly warm, happy, professional and genuinely helpful. After a long day, that kind of welcome makes all the difference. My room was beautiful, with an incredible view, and absolutely immaculate. The room, bathroom and overall housekeeping were spotless. Everything felt fresh, well maintained and thoughtfully taken care of. One of the highlights for me was the 24/7 room service. The service was incredibly efficient, and the food was genuinely excellent. I ordered both the burger and the pasta during my stay, and both arrived hot, beautifully presented and full of flavour. It was honestly some of the best hotel room service I’ve experienced. The service throughout the stay was consistently impressive. Housekeeping was incredibly quick, and whenever I called reception, the response was almost instant. Every interaction was met with a friendly and helpful attitude — something that really stood out. Even checking out was seamless. The same warmth and professionalism I experienced when arriving was there right through to the end of my stay. Overall, this was honestly a 10/10 experience. Beautiful property, immaculate rooms, excellent food and, most importantly, a team that clearly understands what great hospitality looks like. A special thank you to the entire team at the Radisson Blu Umhlanga — you made my stay genuinely enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back. ❤️

The lady that assisted me was not friendly. The handwash did not work. However, the room was clean. Comfortable bed.

On the whole, this was a wonderful stay, and much of that came down to the people and the small, thoughtful touches along the way. From start to finish, the team was warm, attentive, and made everything feel seamless. What truly left an impression was the welcome note left for us by Samir Ramdial upon arrival — such a small gesture, yet it made us feel valued and at home right from the start.

Im writing this review to show gratitude the staff at the Radisson Umhlanga for always making my stays unbelievably comfortable and special. From the time I check-in and see Portia, Udesh or Yolande at the front desk welcoming me back and we shoot the breeze for a brief minute or 2 - the check-in with them feels more like a welcome home. In the restaurant, Samukele knows my regular order the moment I walk into the restaurant. She manages to take a few minutes from her busy schedule to 'catch-up' and she reminded today that we've been doing our little routine for almost 4 years straight. How time has flown by.... but the wonderful staff that make the Radisson Umhlanga so warm and welcoming continue to deliver the most genuine and hospitable service I've ever experienced anywhere in the world.
