Despite its overwhelming pastel colour scheme, a bit reminiscent of a 1970s bathroom, Prize Hotel offers reasonably priced, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast (charged as an extra). The hotel’s name is a bit unpronounceable in British-accented German – at least my taxi driver was initially quite perplexed. The hotel has a well stocked bar but does not have a proper restaurant. However, there are plenty of places to dine on the wharf over the road (though you have to walk 500 m left or right to find a safe, legal crossing of the highway). Also to be found opposite is a studio theatre and the MAU Club, probably Germany’s best music venue with a dive-bar vibe.

Very welcoming and nice staff. We will return. Especially the lady in the reception, with good English and very welcoming. Clean rooms and nice room.

This hotel is located very near to the port and Otto korner clinic and everything is walkable from here . Room size is ok, but they don’t give tooth brush etc in bathroom. Cleaning of rooms is done on third day and only if asked for then you get room cleaned in between. Bfast is good but exactly same menu everyday , staff is very helpful . But central customer service is lagged, you mail they won’t reply to your request, you call no one picks the call. Even you cannot call hotel directly , no where there is number displayed on site and your call keeps going in loop of automated response . Rooms are clean . Easily accessible .

The hotel was very new and clean. The people at the front desk were very friendly but it seemed to take a long time to check in. There was no restaurant for dinner but many restaurants across the street. Breakfast was good with a variety of items and 2 coffee makers. Room was small but beds were good and we only stayed one night. I would stay again
