The venue
art'otel Berlin Mitte features eight outstanding venues. Four of those rooms lie in the beautiful, historic Ermelerhaus building. Ermelerhaus is an architectural example of the Berlin Baroque and Classicism. In 1893, it was listed in the first list of 'architectural and artistic monuments of Berlin'. The origins of the building, which is known throughout Berlin, can be traced back to 1567, at its former location on Breite Straße 11, about 500 meters from the present location on Wallstraße. In the middle of the 18th century, the Ermelerhaus was redesigned into a rococo palace with characteristic wall and ceiling paintings, statues, reliefs, and overdoors.
