Stay near BSU and enjoy things to do in Bemidji
From the Country Inn & Suites, Bemidji, you have easy access to northern Minnesota's best things to see and do, including Lake Bemidji, located just behind our hotel. Adjacent to the hotel, the Sanford Center is the home ice for the Bemidji State University Beavers men’s and women’s hockey teams. The university itself is a seven-minute drive, making our hotel an ideal home base for BSU parents and prospects. But there’s more to the city than photo ops with the legendary Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox.
In the spring, attend the annual Spring PowWow to see dancers in full regalia. Check the calendar to see if your visit coincides with one of the eight International Day cultural festivals hosted by the Concordia Language Villages. Head to Chippewa National Forest and make a point of visiting Camp Rabideau, one of only three Civilian Conservation Corps camps being preserved. For more information about what's happening in the area, check the Chamber of Commerce events calendar.
