As COVID-19 continues and the world evolves to the new normal, Radisson Hotels continue their proactive efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. 

RHG Safety Protocols

As part of the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, our top priority is maintaining the highest levels of safety in accordance with each country’s local regulations. Prevention steps include disinfecting all key entry points, including buffet areas and high touch points in public areas. A personalized contactless service is being offered throughout our properties wherever possible. Our team members’ health is monitored, and they receive regular Covid prevention training. In addition, we continuously monitor indoor air quality, and select hotels are adding CO2 meters in areas such as meeting rooms and fitness centers.

Rapid onsite COVID-19 testing for event attendees

To provide ease and confidence to return to face-to-face meetings and events, we have launched onsite, rapid COVID-19 antigen testing for attendees. To provide this service, we partner with leading healthcare providers to make the option available in 23 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. PCR testing

To facilitate the return of travel, Radisson Hotels are able to direct guests to an easily accessible and affordable PCR testing location. In addition, selected hotels will offer PCR testing on location for groups or individuals, or self-sampling PCR tests via the Group’s specialized partners.

Access to medical assistance for your peace of mind

Our hotel teams are ready to assist to help ensure the safety and well-being of everyone. As part of our continued efforts to help our guests enjoy a relaxed stay with us, our hotels can provide information on locally available medical assistance and support. If you or someone in your traveling party are feeling ill, our team members will do all they can to connect guests with the best locally available resources and local medical advisors. Our team can advise you on the nearest pharmacies and stores to purchase personal protective equipment kits, masks, and other medical necessities.

Rapid onsite COVID-19 testing for meeting & event attendees

To provide ease, confidence and reassurance to safely return to face-to-face events, we’ve introduced pre-event, onsite, rapid COVID-19 antigen testing for meeting and event attendees, further enhancing the comprehensive Radisson Hotels Safety Protocols, which are already in place in all hotels. To provide this service, we partner with leading healthcare providers to make the option available in 23 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Together we are delivering a reliable solution that you can trust for your future events.

What we provide

Through our healthcare partner, we will provide the point of care test kits (rapid antigen lateral flow) and ensure all tests are administered by trained healthcare professionals who meet local requirements.
 
The convenient tests can be performed on the day of the event, before attendees enter. Our hotel team will optimize the planning together with you to minimize total required pre-event time. Rapid antigen tests are performed right on site by the healthcare professional(s), in a dedicated and safe area of the hotel, and results are returned in just 15 minutes (up to a maximum of 30 minutes). The rapid tests provided by our healthcare partners are amongst the best performing on the market and meet the WHO requirements in terms of accuracy, specificity and sensitivity.

From start to finish, you can rest assured knowing that that your attendees in a safe environment, with in-depth cleaning and disinfection procedures, physical distancing, thoroughly sanitized meeting spaces, protective equipment, and updated training for team members. 1. Booking the rapid COVID-19 test

Rapid COVID-19 tests can be booked together with your meeting package. Please allow a minimum of three weeks prior to the day of arrival to organize the local setup. Our team will include this service in your event proposal and will provide you with all further details.

Upon confirming the event, we will provide supporting information and materials to share with your attendees about the test.

We will welcome your guests in a dedicated, safe area, ensuring physical distancing.

4. Administering the test

Up to 20 attendees can be tested in one hour; for larger groups our healthcare partner can foresee additional staff for optimal planning and to minimize waiting time.

5. Secure waiting room

After administering the test, guests will be asked to wait for the results in a separate, secure waiting room. Results are returned in just 15 to maximum 30 minutes.

Guests who test negative are shown by our teams to the event room where they can continue to work, network and prepare for the event.

If any guest tests positive, our existing safety protocols will be activated, in line with our processes and local laws and legislation and affected persons will be directed to confirm the result with a PCR test, as instructed by the test provider and the ECDC.
