Hersheypark

Hersheypark is a huge amusement park featuring more unique parks within its walls: Boardwalk, ZooAmerica, and Hershey's Chocolatetown. Right next door you'll find the free attraction, Hershey's Chocolate World, where you can learn about the chocolate-making process and buy some treats to take home.

Hersheypark

From enjoying thrill rides to meeting Hershey characters, the whole family can have fun at Hersheypark. There are special events for every season, like dark rides for Halloween or a Christmas light display.

The rides are a major draw and the park does not disappoint, offering everything from the corkscrew and loop-filled Fahrenheit roller coaster to calmer rides like a mini train ride or the Tea Cups. There are all sorts of characters to meet based off of Hershey's candy favorites. Take a photo with Milk Dud, Kit Kat, or Hershey's Kiss.

There are plenty of food stands, restaurants, and fun shops in the park to keep you busy all day. Kids can get their faces painted, try out various temporary tattoos, or get a colorful hair wrap. Have a caricature made of the whole family or get dressed up and take an antique photo. There's no shortage of chocolate treats, candy, and even fresh-cut fudge options.

Boardwalk

During the warmer months, Hersheypark's 11-acre water park is open. Try some twisting and turning slides, learn how to surf on the Waverider simulator, or float along the lazy river. There's a special area for little ones called Bayside Pier. You'll find shallower water and a fun splash area.

ZooAmerica

Hersheypark's zoo is open all year. There are over 200 animals to see, including wolves, bears, otters, and ocelots. You can take behind-the-scenes tours to get closer to the animals. Some tours even let you help feed the animals!

The zoo holds its own special events, and often offers children's programs where kids can learn more about the animals. There are even regular Saturday events where certain animals are fed chocolate-themed treats.

ZooAmerica is also involved in animal conservation projects. They have recently helped protect Pennsylvania's barn owl population by adding nest boxes to local barns. The zoo also has a pollinator garden to help attract butterflies and other pollinators and stop the populations from declining.

Hershey's Chocolatetown

Hershey's Chocolate town will be opening in the summer of 2020 as a completely new section of Hersheypark. There will be new rides, a themed restaurant, and of course chocolate treats.
