Arrival & Departure
- Check in online in 30 seconds from your own device before you arrive. Simply pick up your keycard upon arrival or use the mobile key to enter your room.
- In the UK, Germany and the Netherlands guests must wear a face mask in public areas of the hotel.
- In the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, our team members will be wearing masks unless behind a protective screen.
- Identification (passport/driving licence/ID Cards) will be required upon entry to the hotel.
- Non invasive temperature checks using thermal imaging technology for guests, following a successful trial, is implemented in our hotels in the UK and the Netherlands. This includes adults and children of all ages. If a guest has a temperature of over 37.8 degrees celsius, they will be offered assistance and will be required to self isolate in their guest room.
- Temperature checks for team members in the UK and Dutch hotels.
- Increased cleaning and disinfection with clear display signs of new procedures in all areas of the hotel.

Guest Rooms
- To ensure your comfort and safety and to reduce contact points, guests staying for more than one night will only have their rooms cleaned every three days. Should you wish to have your room cleaned more often or require towels or amenity replenishment, please do let us know.
- Chat to one of our team members who will be happy to assist with questions or requests you may have via WhatsApp or Web Chat.
- Increased cleaning and disinfection with clear display signs of new procedures.
- Mini bars are currently closed but in-room dining is available in all hotels.

Restaurants & Bars
- Order room service, including breakfast, with just a few taps directly from your personal device. Choose whether to pay online or at the door, without any direct contact with our team members.
- In the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, guests must wear a face mask in public areas of the restaurant including when walking to the table. Once seated guests do not need to wear a mask.
- In the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, our team members will be wearing masks unless behind a protective screen.
- Non invasive temperature checks using thermal imaging technology for guests, following a successful trial, are implemented in our restaurants in the UK and Netherlands. This includes adults and children of all ages. If a guest has a temperature of over 37.8 degrees celsius, they will be offered assistance and will be required to self isolate in their guest room. If the restaurant guest is not staying at the hotel, they will politely be refused entry.
- We will do our best to ensure as little wait time as possible but there may be a small queue to ensure everything is perfect for your experience.
- Go digital - where possible please use our menus on your smartphone via a QR code on your table, we also have single use menus if you prefer.
- In the UK, your details will be required for the NHS Test and Trace and similarly in the Netherlands you will be required to provide your details for the municipal health services.
- Please be aware that in the Netherlands it is prohibited to serve or consume alcohol in restaurants, bars or room service from 8pm.
- Repurposed spaces to ensure social distance.
- All food and beverages served under the strictest safety procedures.
- Please reserve your table in advance and pre-book.

New protocols
Park Plaza has implemented a new process for hotels that incorporates Radisson Hotel Group’s safety protocol initiative with SGS. These steps include new cleaning and disinfection procedures, increased attention to safety in communal spaces, protective equipment and updated training for team members. we are delighted to share that all of our hotels across Europe have now formally passed the SGS Cleaning and Disinfection Pledge Assessment. The new protocols, approved by the Executive Leadership Team with a combined experience of over 150 years in hospitality, include but are not limited to the following:

1. Enhanced Cleanliness
• Increased cleaning and disinfection of all public areas and guest rooms, paying special attention to high-touch items.
• Install stations with alcohol-based hand sanitiser and gloves at the front entrance and hotel’s public areas.
• Ensure room keys are disinfected and presented without contact upon check in.
• Display signs with cleaning and disinfection procedures in each room.
• Place TV remote controls in an individually sealed protective bag after disinfection.
• Improved air circulation throughout all hotels.

2. Heightened Guest Safety and Comfort
• Temperature checks for team members and guests.
• Implement social/physical distancing measures throughout the hotel in line with local government advice
.
• In the UK and Germany, guests must wear a face mask in public areas of the hotel and restaurant including when walking to the table. Once seated guests do not need to wear a mask.
• In the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Croatia, our team members will be wearing masks unless behind a protective screen.
• We are spacing tables a safe distance apart in all restaurants and bars to ensure physical distancing and a reduced capacity.
• Installation of protective screens at the front desk, concierge and host stands between guests and team members.

3. Enhanced, convenient Technology
• Express check-in and check-out remains available to all guests.
• Online check-in is currently being trialled.
• Mobile phone key entry is currently being trialled.
• Mobile phone as a TV remote control being trialled.
• Web chat and messaging being trialled.
• Online ordering of in-room dining being trialled.
• Park Plaza offers cash-free methods of payment including contactless payment methods.

4. Empowering our Team Members
• Follow government and industry standards to ensure a safe and healthy (work) environment.
• Support our leaders in effective team & change management skills.
• Providing team members with Personal Protective Equipment.
• Conducting comprehensive hygiene and prevention training for team members.
• Extra training for housekeeping to implement heightened cleaning standards.

5. Encouraging our Guests to Stay Well
Even prior to your arrival we are focused on your wellbeing. If you have any symptoms, please do not travel to the hotel and seek medical advice from your country of origin. Be sure to follow World Health Organization guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
