Movember

For the fourth year running, Park Plaza hotels have teamed up with the Movember Foundation to help raise awareness for men’s health issues. By raising funds we seek to make a positive contribution to this very worthy cause and complement the continued work we do to support our local communities. As a guest at our hotel, we make it easy and fun for you to get involved should you wish. Our Movember initiatives this year include:

• Let your mo grow
  Guests to our hotels in Movember will notice many of our team members sporting moustaches to show their support! We will be delighted to share extra info (or even a photo) with any guests, whether they are letting their mo grow or not.

• Sip on a cocktail or mocktail
  During the entire month, we will donate £4/€4 from the sale of every Movember cocktail or mocktail in our bars to the foundation. What a lovely excuse to enjoy a quality tipple.
• 
  
• Donating made easy
  When you book a stay at any of our hotels in November we will add a voluntary £1/€1 to your room bill at check-out. Get involved and help us change the face of men’s health issues forever.
• 
  
• We’re moving for men’s health
  What better way to support Movember than getting on the MOVE? On 28th November team members across our UK hotels will be embarking on a special physical challenge to help raise funds awareness. If you see them sweating please feel free to donate!

The Movember Foundation is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health. Since 2003 the foundation has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.
